Damn dude, pressing strength is coming along nicely, good to see!
Today I just failed at two separate attempts at 305, but my PR with 275 is only 3, I need to catch up!

Thats pretty much what I had in mind for my ab workouts to.
3-2-10
Bench:
135x5
185x5
235x1
285x1
305x1- PR+ 10lbs
Did some forearm work and curls to finish off the workout.
I know ive been doing WAY to much benching in the last few weeks… and this was my last one for a while. I just really wanted to bench over 300.
I think im good for 315 if I give myself a few weeks. I only gave myself 2 days rest inbetween workouts so I wasnt fully recovered.

Our school was part of the NCCC, which was smaller, northern connecticut schools

I haven’t heard of that conferance, but then again CT decides to have a million of them for no particular reason.
I actually did a 42’ glide today… maybe there is hope.

Congrats,
Tolland was the best in our league, but this year they moved to the CCC’s i think. they had won for a few years running. other teams included avon, enfield, and windsor… so not to many big schools.
2-4-10
Power cleans:
135x5
155x5
165x3x5
Went for explosion on these, didnt focus on how much weight I was using. Also put a block of wood under my heal to simulate and oly shoe, which I will hopefully be getting soon.
Rack pull: (3" from ground)
165x5
225x3
315x2
345x2
385x2
425x2
475x1
495x1
Pretty happy with this. The weights were only 3" off the ground, so I think in a few months I should be able to pull 500 from the ground. You can see in the picture exactly how far the weights were.
Nice log man, and damn good PR on bench. I honestly think that you will have 500 and then some on the deadlifts. Speed off the floor is a huge factor.

Just curious, have you tried a healed shoe of any kind yet? I use a pair of Eastland shoes with a 1.5 inch heel, and it seems to work well. Any heeled shoe could work, maybe???
Absolutely awesome progress, and that is in spite of track. Quite amazing.
Great job on all of your lifts man. Looks like great progress is being made. I finally pulled 500. Race me to 525?
