worked up to 405x1 didnt go to heavy never do these

Front squat
worked up to 300x1

Good morning
worked up to 315x5

Leg press
worked up to a wolf set of 8ppsx40

Seated leg curl
worked up to a wolf set of 160x30

Standing calf raise
did 150x12 reps - here i did 1.5 reps dc calves so it went:
full rep, half rep, 2 second hold peak contraction, 5 second negative, 12 second stretch at bottom, lol pain!!!

Ok well i forgot the rant its been a few days and unfortunately my eiditec memory is only short term lol. but Ill give the gist of it.

This literally obese powert lifter was talking to me and starting coming down on me for not wanting to just keep adding more and more weight to get my squats and blah blah up x amount of lbs. Ive gotten this a few times and i finally said something. Listen ______ There are many different types of people who lift weights. There are the lean guys that cant lift much at all, are not very muscular, but are in amazing shape all the time, then there are the fat guys that lift huge amounts of weight all the time. No matter what they say, one of them will always envy the other. The skinny guy will feel embarassed to lift beside the fat strong guy and the fat strong guy will feel like a slob in the locker room if the lean guy is around. (this wasnt coming out of air ive been in both positions so i know the feeling) Then there are the guys that are so effing superhumanly amazing that they envy noone and everyone just sort of puts their head down when hes around.

I said more but it was a bit much.

But honestly I think a lot of people do settle when it comes to what they want diet/training to evolve them into. The years of training should be a constant evolution. And no personally in my opinion I dont mean just lifting more but becomeing more obese or getting in better shape but never even bencing 2 or 3 plates but over time instilling a complete transformation.

Its deffinitely something to think about, everyone will want different things. But from what ive seen, the guys that are both relatively lean AND big in the whole iron world are the ones everyone deep down wants to be like and get the most attention even in sports where body comp doesnt nessecarily matter like PL and Strongman.

totally agree with the rant. I’d like to be this beast someday, that everyone stares at, looks down on the floor when they’re training, and generally causes the lamentation of the women and children.

exactly, lol i spent years of my life feeling unadequate etc thats why i first started with weights, i just think that a lot of people just settle for being mediocre when everyone can be great

the next week he would get 5 more week after that max reps then he ups the weight and starts over
