Thanks brother, those pictures are awesome! Shogun is one of my favourite fighters, my fave MMA meme is “healthy shogun” ![]()
I am not sure what I am going to do about bjj now as I am likely joining the forces due to lack of prospects, might just go 2-3 times a week. How is the BJJ in mexico? Is there a lack of gyms over there or is it quite popular?
joining the forces will be good. THere will be opportunities to train and to lift and less distractions than a 9-5.
Gyms in Mexico are good. Most big cities have a few gyms these days and we get 2-300 at the bigger tournaments. Also we get plenty of good blackbelts giving seminars down here because we are between Brazil and US.

Hey you limey bastid! Good to see you back
hey there. Work and private life have been crazy so not much time to surf the net.
The pic with Shogun and Sarafin was from last month where I spent 2 weeks training at Demian Maia’s place in Sao Paulo as part of his camp in the run up to his UFC fight.
The depth of talent on the mats was insane! Incredible experience

I can’t believe a fellow T-Nation member came to Brazil, i’ve been always training at Demian’s. It would be a pleasure to meet you and show you around the city.
What a shame.
