Let’s try it this way:
Is anybody still contending that only 300,000 people in California pay taxes?
If so, evidence should be produced that both supports this claim and refutes the evidence I already provided. If not, then I guess it’s settled, isn’t it?
For the record, there are a number of words for somebody who gets into a heated debate, ends up being wrong, and then doesn’t own up.

If you plan on calling me out, then call me out, or are you going to continue to be a pussy about it ?
I am forwarding what my accountant, who is also an adjunct professor at a local college told me, which is either his opinion or fact. I am not sure whether it was true or not, but off the top of my head he is saying that 1% pay all the taxes which I know isn’t true. I know they pay at least half.
The entire point of this thread was about how a die-hard Liberal is now complaining about taxation. One of the “tax the rich” warriors is now whining that he got what he asked for. The best part is how Maher donated $1 million to Obama’s reelection, only to end up robbing him in the end.
SMH - there is an intimate knowledge you get with where you live, which factor into your overall quality of living of your home city/state. Because I don’t know how things are where you live, I don’t talk about it. I would rather ask, otherwise I would look as stupid as you do.

Wow.
“Otherwise I would look as stupid as you do.”
The one who looks stupid is the one who said something that wasn’t true. That was you. You said that only 300,000 people in California pay taxes. In reality, Far more than 300,000 people pay taxes. Do I give a damn that you happen to live in California? Do I give a damn that the guy who said it to you also lives in California and is an adjunct professor?
Of course I don’t. What matters here is that you said something that was bullshit. Then, I proved that it was bullshit. Then you countered with all this pussy nonsense about me “not living in California” and how you need to “chincheck this clown,” when in reality the ONLY thing left for a grown man to do in that situation was to step in and say, “yeah you’re right, that wasn’t true. Whoops.”
Let me just see if I can make this even clearer to you here. You wrote:

None of this has any bearing whatsoever on the simple FACTS of what happened here. Despite the fact that you live in California and I do not, you were wrong. Go figure. That’s what matters. I don’t know why you continue to cling to this “it’s my state so leave me alone” line of thinking, but please understand that this isn’t a support group where we talk about our feelings; I don’t care what you “know in your heart” to be true or some other such soft nobody’s-ever-wrong-and-there-are-no-stupid-questions piffle. You don’t get a trophy for trying and you certainly don’t get one by virtue of the numbers that comprise your zipcode. You talk about politics here: about facts that can be verified and about opinions that are born of those facts. When you’re wrong you have balls to come out and say so. It isn’t hard.
Oh, and of course I’m calling you out. That has been really, really clear for a good long time now.[/quote]
All that crying ^, and you said what ? You called me wrong ?
You’re worse than a female on her rag.
I took a phrase that I forwarded (which was paraphrased) and you jumped on it like a John in a whorehouse.
.4% of the population pays 42% of the taxes, and I’m off my rocker ?!
I would love to hold you underwater for a little while.

So what the fuck are you saying? That you were wrong?
