I recently starting to take in more food in an attempt to bulk but it seems to have just increased the size of my gut is this because of the type of food i am eating or as i excercise more the protein and such wil go to the worked area?
It might be a fiber/constipation thing, if its not just fat. Good luck during your bulk.

What type of food are you eating anyway?
If you’re eating chips and hamburgers, you might have more to be concerned about than if you’re eating lean meats and vegies.
If it’s the latter - I wouldn’t worry - just lift and eat.
