The guy is a genetic freak and like a few others over the years will blow up once he gets back on to eating, lifting and taking his vitamins

It just seems so crazy to me that within a month and a half you can lose all that like damn if I were him id be pretty depressed even if I knew I could get it back no problem
Very receptive to “supps.” Plus, it is said that the middle east has superior “supps.”
He’ll be huge in no time, and probably dead by 45.
i hit google to look him up pics came up
is he real?

Do you mean that sarcastically?
Yep, he’s real. Crazy genetics and drive.
I don’t think you have a very good understanding of professional bodybuilding… your take on him is weird.
I used to see Levrone a good 60 lbs down from Olympia size and he’d always pack it back on pre contest. If ramy isn’t done, perhaps he’s simply trying to minimize the possible damage from excessive use?
S
Word has it that he has some type of surgery (gyno?).

never really seen any signs of it from his contest pics, but maybe?
I don’t think it’s going to matter that much in the grand scheme of things. He got to the size he is (was) in a few short years so I’m sure he’ll bounce back in no time.
I think it’s worth noting that Ramy isn’t going to beat Phil Heath, ever, when he’s at his biggest. If he’s actually losing muscle mass (I’m not convinced he is based on a few offseason pics), perhaps it’s intentional. He needs better lines to be more competitive.

He’s training with Aceto now who has made it quite clear he believes Ramy should not be coming in over 300lbs and closer to the 280/290 mark. He’s probably right as 280 is still enormous and will still dwarf the entire comp.
He’sb also skipping the Arnold.

Ron Harris mentioned that it could have been hernia surgery.
Nevertheless, he will bounce back fast, but I agree cannot beat Phil with anything close to the mass he normally carries.
dude has tons of muscle to spare. He doesn’t need to come in at the weight he usually does. Maintaining health is also a big factor im sure…
Ramy is my favourite bodybuilder just now. It’s the only natural (ha) place for the sport left to go.
You wanted mass monsters? HERE’S YOUR MASS MONSTER!!!

i think it was covered in another thread or article on this site that the sport of bodybuilding tends to be a little weird in its self
how ever i am completely amazed by the development that some of these people obtain. i know a couple of people that compete in amateur local shows and have seen the amount of work and dedication it takes at that level
i cant imagine what it takes to hit the world stage

It’s insane. Seeing pics on the internet is one thing. Seeing these guys in person is quite jarring. It’s almost like seeing large wild animals. Makes one feel like “why bother? I quit!” lol
I hadn’t seen the photos until yesterday on Iron Debate on RXMuscle. The first photo I saw he was covered up in a hoodie and sweat pants. The second photo I saw, he was still covered up, but his face was flushed and skinny, not like the skull-face we see when competitors are dieting down prior to a contest. He looked sick. He definitely looked smaller.
Whether or not he IS smaller, I can’t tell. Pictures paint 1,000 words but ONLY 1,000 words. They work interchangeably. Personally, I look pretty decent in some photos but in real life I look like jack shit. Until he gets on stage, no one can really say besides for him and maybe Chris Aceto.

Is Big Ramy the human who has the most muscle mass ever? I have heard Ronnie Coleman was 298 pounds lean at his biggest. Or is there a strongman with more muscle mass out there?
