What is geting tiresome is the “agree with me and you know what you are talking about, disagree and you are an idiot” Then the belief that some magical routine by somebody else is going to work. the “whatcha gotta do is …cuz it worked for me”
Here is an idea. If your program is not providing results, change it. there are many program templates out there. more weight. more reps with the same weight. More explosives concentrics and slower eccentrics with the same number of total reps. More food.
More frequent provided the progression can be maintained. I agree with the idea that people that take things to the exteme needlessly. I would bet the very complex disciples could equal or improve their results with a bit of simplicity, whereas the simple could get equal or better results with a little more flavor.
I don’t know if that was supposed to be a dig on me when you said many people who compete don’t have much mass. When I competed in bodybuilding I won the Mr. Va AAU at my height class and the overall. I’ve also won many other overall titles.
But I’m not here to get into a pissing contest with anyone. I’ve read a lot of your posts and you come across as if you have some good ideas but have you put them to any use? Have you competed in anything?

Once again you didn’t answer the question. Why?
For the THIRD time copy and pasted from above:
Why did you write what you did as if you could NOT do heavy rows and pulldowns in a body part split? Who would train using a “body part split” without doing heavy rows for back training? If you were leaving out core exercises like that, NO WONDER YOU STARTED GAINING MORE WHEN YOU ADDED THEM BACK IN.
No, I have not competed in bodybuilding. I have done some VERY minor local strength comps associated with a school I was attending. That has nothing to do with the question above asked of you AGAIN.[/quote]
this is getting pretty comical. I never said that row and pulldowns can be part of a body part split. I said that I get more bicep stimulation from rows and pulldowns. It may not have been clear to you but thats all I said. And yes when I did a typical body part split I did row and pulldowns. the only difference now is they are included on an accessory day.
I hope this is finally cleared up.

Gotcha, I am just trying to look for new ideas. Someone different things that others may do, and just like everything, I would try it and if I liked it I would continue, if not I wouldnt. Just trying to get some ideas.
I have recieved a decent amount too.
What I dont understand is that I asked a simple question of “new ideas” for my self on BICEPS, and some are suggesting deadlifts and rows. But I think Prof X is dealing with that issue. Thanks for the imput everyone, I appreciate it very much.
