I have bought a BF-caliber and need a good tool to calculate my BF%?
Minor correction… Calipers.
Not the most accurate tool though. Very user-variable so it’s inherently inconsistant.
I agree… BUT for a trainer or someone wanting to measure PROGRESS rather than stats… it is invaluable IMO.
But when someone is unskilled at using the device - or had not enough practice i should say - they tend to get large discrepancies in readings, even when doing one straight after the other on the same body.
Takes time to get a ‘stride’

If you are using something like those acu-measure calipers that click when you are supposed to stop, they are pretty good for tracking progress. I don’t think the BF estimates are accurate though. Just make sure you are checking in the same spot each time you use.
