Well she talked a good game, but when the time came, she went to the mall with her friends instead.

She got her learner’s permit today…let the terror begin!!

You started him with the prowler? People think I’m tough because I have my son doing power cleans!!

nice last session

good benching.

I was fed on a very heavy diet of power cleans as a teen

Actually he started himself on it. He was adamant about trying it so I obliged. Football season is only a few weeks away!

I agree, if he wants to try, let him have it!

A couple of my son’s hockey buddies were at the gym tonight - completely unsupervised, with no idea what they are doing. They are an accident waiting to happen. They are why I don’t let my son go to the gym without me for now - he’s likely to act as dumb as them!

Apologies on the poor grammar as well. I was replying from the bus and the screen interface on my Droid is not conducive to replying to message boards…

I am now off to enjoy my deload week on a warm tropical beach.

Have a great week everyone!

Enjoy the deload and the bench. I hear tequila and lap dances are an excellent recovery tool.

Jealous about the beach. Bring back some stories.

x2!!!

Okay, I’m back!

After a week on a tropical beach, I am back rested, refreshed - and a wonderful shade of golden brown!

Unfortunately, I managed to spend a week on a tropicl beach - in July - and come down with a bad cold the last couple of days!! Made for a most unenjoyable flight!

I’m dying to get back under the bar, but it looks like it will be another day or two.

PS - No lap dances, but significant quantities of tequila were consumed!

First time the boy has done militaries with the barbell - up til now he’s been using the dumbbells. Did OK, but has to learn to keep it away from his face.
