I chose to offer some information–and anyone reading it could choose to try to take something from it or dismiss it as crap. Its not that you offended anyone, its that you offered your opinion on a diet that you clearly didnt understand. You assumed we were gonna down protein shakes for a few months and then jump back to the way we ate before. If you had not made those assumptions, people would have taken your constructive critisicm, but what you said wasnt right, about us gaining the weight back or falling off the wagon after getting so sick of protein shakes after months. Seriously Drew, dont act like we are close minded morons. You simply said some things that were very inaccurate. goodluck to YOU.
Bets, I’m glad to see that your brainpower is returning. Good stuff. Yes, yes the original diet says to take 1300 cals, but it ALSO says that you need andro. If you don’t take an andro, you’ll end up losing muscle mass on that diet…so eating 1500 won’t be a detrimental thing.
Remember that it was a 200+lb Brock Strasser taking andro with his 1300 calories. Bets’ LBM isn’t nearly as high as Brock’s, so she’s not going to be hurt as bad at that caloric level, despite having only Methoxy for ‘protection’.
Well, Day 5 is over and i STILL havent cheated. I did a great job with my calories (1400) due to my new salad dressing invention (as posted on another thread). I had less protein today (150g) but a lot more fat than usual, but pugs assured me that its ok. I am happy with my weight loss, I am starting to see it in my face a little bit. I was outside raking leaves today for a couple hours, I got a pretty good workout doing it, as they were wet and really heavy.
The cravings today were overwhelming. Not even really cravings i guess, but I just saw a few things in my house that i REALLY wanted, like M&Ms, tootsie rolls, bread, potatoes…but I resisted. I guess everytime I resist I get a little bit closer to my goals. Christmas is gonna be hard, but I know I can do it. I just need a TINY bit more motivation from Pugs.
Anyways, day 5 is over and I resisted all the major temptations.

I ate the cheese bc I was having trouble meeting my caloric needs and I was told how important it is to meet them. However, as I posted, my new salad dressing concoction has given me adequate calories and I no longer need the cheese.

Well day five is over you all are right it does get atad bit easier…although I think the fact that it is easy has been because Ive had more solid food today…two cans of water tuna…will it make any diff if its food or shakes, as long as i get my protein , don’t go over the cals and dont consume carbs? Did 20 mins of cardio and a quick ab workout. Not really any visible differences yetonto day 6…still don’t have a workout set as of yet…Love u bets your doing wonderful and i am so proud of you baby!..Love you

Hey all, if I may interject here for just a second… I just wanted to ask you guys about a little problem I have that’s really bugging me lately. You see, I constantly have the theme song to that one great movie “Meatballs” (you know the one) running through my head. And as if that wasn’t bad enough to begin with, sometimes “Christmas Time” by Alvin and the Chipmunks gets thrown in there too… right out of nowhere!!! Does this ever happen to any of you people? What supplements should I take to combat this? Help me out here.
