12 hour work day. Then had a night of bad decisions.
9-8
Off - recovering from last night, couldn’t get my head in the game. 12 hour workday.
Quote of the day: “What you do speaks so loud that I cannot hear what you say.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
9-9
60 pullups
100 pushups
5x10 squat lunges
Another 12 hour workday. Quote of the day: “If you are going through hell, keep going.” - Winston Churchill
9-10
Was hoping to start fresh on my day off and get a brutal workout in before classes. Instead home with a sick kiddo.
This will probably be the last week for early a.m. sprints - too dark and I don’t like not being able to see wildlife (skunks) before they see me. Maybe time to try out the graveyard. No one seems to bother you there. Things have been a struggle lately, facing down my demons and pushing through. I haven’t clawed, sweat, and bled this far only to concede defeat. Some mornings when I sprint I think my heart will explode. Sometimes the anger and hurt makes me want to cry, but I can’t even breathe. As I complete the final sprint and walk home I thank God for the strength to make myself go the distance.

Woah dude, that was deep.
I really like this log because now I am not the only person who talks about their feelings, LOL.
I wish I could offer helpful advice like so many people do in my log, but I dunno really…
You sound like one tough chick though, you’re an inspiration. Truly.
Sometimes we face really horrible tough times. But you know what? You come out of it… and when you do, you are that much stronger and wiser.
Without change in our lives, wether it be positive or negative, we do not grow and when we stop growing we kind of die anyways.
Dig deep and batten down the hatches. You can and get through all of this and you will!
AND you will come out better and stronger and wiser and you will know even more about yourself.
This too shall pass.
Hugs, take care of yourself, your child, and the ones that love you. And fuck the rest of them!

No cardio - still sore as hell from the barbell complex yesterday.

Slow start today. ass and legs are so sore and tight. Started out with some foam rolling which made me want to cry. Workout was further delayed by a cute nurse who wants to go sprint with me sometime. Anyway, I still killed it - or at least i was soaked and felt dead at the end.
Pullups 8x8
pushups 5x20
2 x bi drop sets 25lb to 12lb.
25 min hiit with tons of lunges, pushups, squat lunges, stair climbing, core stuff. owie hurting still, really dug deep for that.
Gotta tweak my nutrition a little for better recovery. Either that or I’m on fire and not used to feeling sore.

How’s this for a cosmic joke. I just found out that my ex (who is a colleague) just happens to be going on this group business trip to Virginia Beach next month. And I’ll have to fly with him. Oye vey!
