Talladega Nights - just when I thought a scene couldn’t get any stupider, the next scene came. And yet I couldn’t look away.
Wedding Crashers - I have no words.
The Hangover - Also no words.

Will Ferrel has been the god of stupid comedy in these last couple decades, I can’t ever bring myself to hate a Ferrel film, no matter how dumb it gets.

If i’m honest I think They Live is a pretty solid film, a little messy story-wise maybe but I applaud John Carpenter for what he did with what he had, the budget was slack and he had to accommodate for that, and he pulled it off wonderfully. For a ‘B-Movie’ the message is pretty damn crystal clear, even if the aliens aren’t.
Kahuna…yep, totally agree.
I own it, and it’s awesome.
The Warriors
Assault On Precinct 13 (The original)
I Love them both.

I fucking love that movie lol. Bruce Leeroy vs the Shogun of Harlem. Not to mention the power of the glow omg.
This is exactly that kind of “Best ‘Worst’ Movie” you’re talking about.
Sorry to be so late to respond to this, but I’m watching The Last Dragon now and I can’t help but think of the backstory and another film that has a similar premise, but makes it work well.
Talking about a film called Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai. It’s a Forest Whitaker film by Jim Jarmusch about a man from the ghetto who learns to live his life on the principles of traditional Japanese ethics and work as a retainer for one of the mob’s Made Men who saved his life.
I’m a big fanatic of Samurai culture and there are a lot of references and respects paid to it throughout. Now that might not be your thing, but it won’t by any means make the film any less satisfying, as a serious title I’d encourage you to watch it.

I see no reason to think of The Warriors as a bad film, maybe a little silly at times but it’s tough and intense, I love the brutish violence and the gang uniqueness. And the crazy, pathetic antagonist, love his bottle scene towards the end of the film. Most of why I love it might be because it reminds me so much of A Clockwork Orange, my third favourite film of all time. Most of my respect borders on the same principles, and while I think A Clockwork Orange is more accomplished and cleanly written and filmed and will likely remain higher on my subjective opinion, I appreciate The Warriors on an overwhelming level.

The only reason I list it as a “bad” movie, is the dialogue. But, that’s mainly due to the movie being made to read like a comic book and the directors cut adds the comic book element to the movie.
It gives it a different feel than the original movie, imo.

I completely forgot about the release of the director’s cut, I agree, was not a fan of that as it concerns the original film. I can respect your point, sometimes I get so caught up in my own opinions and personal experiences that I cut my own knowledge of the things I’m arguing about and take things way too seriously than their intent originally was. I begin to tense up too much and make myself even more ignorant than I would be with a lax and stress-less mind. My fault.

Seen the remake?, I wouldn’t if you haven’t. When I made my first post of this thread and distinguished bad from good-bad, that would describe it all too well.
I didn’t think a remake would work to start with.
The first wins because of when it was made. It was a full representation of the times.

Not much to overcome? You have no idea how hard and involved video games have become.
Then again, at your age, the most difficult game you’ve probably played was “Joust”. Ooohh, let’s knock each other off of ostriches!

So you didn’t like it? The point of this thread is not what the general populace thought was great but you hated… but what movie do you like watching that YOU know is shit, and that everybody else knows is shit too.
