Best Way to Use Whey/Casein

I would just like some clarification on this, I’ve searched and haven’t found all the answers. I know it is best to take Whey after workouts because of it’s fast delivery, and Casein at night because of it’s slow delivery, but what about mornings? I wake up at around 6:30am for school and my workouts are around 4:00pm after school, so is it better to take Casein for slow delivery throughout the day? Or Whey to break the “fast” from sleep and get quick protein (is there a “fast”, because Casein is giving you protein throughout your sleep)? Or should I combine both Casein and Whey in the morning? Thanks.

P.S. And since I’m already making a thread, how should I use Flameout? 2 in the morning when I wake up and 2 sometime in the evening? Or 4 throughout the day?

Flameout?? just take them daily doesnt matter when not like they have a half life etc just be sure to take them Prob not a good idea with your oats as the soluable fiber may trap some of the fats.

Casien whey well take em. You have the post training and post bed down. can be good if wanting something fast to have whey upon waking something that will digest fast and have you hungry again. WHere casien will stick round longer give sustained amino levels and less hunger do to slower disgestion.

These are just sources of protein. In a way, it’s like asking when to use chicken, fish, beef, or eggs. In general, use protein powders for convienence to supplement your diet with additional protein. Take them post-workout or whenever you can’t have protein from solid food.

Don’t make things more complicated than needed.

The same goes for Flameout. It’s a concentrated source of DHA, EPA, and CLA. I take 1 to 2 capsules with meals throughout the day, but you probably don’t even need to do this. Take all full day’s serving all at once if its easiest for you.

Keep things as simple as possible.
