Best Time to Take Acetyl-L-Cartinine?

I have gotten mixed messages all over the net on this. Some say take with food and some say to take on empty stomach. I also take 5g l-arginine, but that I have exclusively read that it must be taken on an empty stomach, even b4 bed but at that time in higher doses (8-10g) to help with GH along with NO synthesis. My feeling is that for better absorption, amino acids are taken on empty stomach, separately (I also take 5g BCAA, 45 minutes into a workout, right before cardio), but in 2-3 places, have read to take A-L-C with food as it will aid better with energy/fat loss by assisting the mitochondria better.

So, what is you guys/gals take/experience on this? Thanks…
