What are the best suppliments for my money? now i take creatine, l-glutimate, whey and meso-tech and a multi-vitamin. but my girl says that i dont need any suppliments, but i agree with her, but tell her shes full of shit becasue they help me out a bit. Currentally im 6’3 and 208 and need to gain 7 more pounds befor school starts. i do keep a food log and get about 4500 calories a day and 250-300 grames of protein a day. also are biotests two prohormone sprays worth looking in to?
thanks

Why do you need to gain more weight before school, sports? If it is sports and you’re tested get Androsol as it clears for a test w/i a couple of days. Believe me this stuff works. You can easily gain the seven probably w/i one 2 week cycle.
I’m assuming that you’re pretty young because you mentioned school. First off, if you’re high school age, forget about the prohormones. If you’re in college, maybe. It sounds like you’re getting enough calories to put on 7 pounds in 2 months as long as your training is adequate. Unless you’re on a modified keto diet like the T-Dawg or something like it, though, you need a lot more protein. 250-300 grams is only 1000-1200 calories from protein on a 4500 calorie diet. That’s in the low 20’s percentage-wise. What are your carb and fat ratios? Get the diet straight and you should be all set without the prohormones, although they definitely wouldn’t hurt. Do a search for “massive eating” in the previous issues. I’m pretty new here and I haven’t tried it yet, but I’ve read a lot of good things about it on the forum.
Actually I forgot to ask how old you are. I would not even consider taking a prohormone unless I was at least 18. You should probably wait till at least 21 to be safe though.
id ditch the meso-tech. their stuff is overpriced and overhyped. you can save a decent amount of money by going with a different mrp (i suggest champion, prolab, sportpharma, and biotest). good luck.
what is so magical and mystical about 7 lbs? I mean this with all the sincerity in the world. So in 2 months you weigh 7 lbs more, what is it that you are going to do with it? Are you an athlete? I am not going to do the Mentzeresque thing and say that to gain 7 lbs you have to intake 24,500 extra calories which equates to 97.22222> calories per 6 meal day over the coarse of 6 weeks, and that is tissue which is only appr 30% of the make up,blah, blah, but what are your training goals? do you need to be stronger, faster, heavier, need curlier hair, more tan skin??? I think that the functional strength crowd will argue that 7 lbs of bulk without a corresponding increase in strength is worthless, and the appearance crowd will point you in a different direction. With all of the training resources available, Staley, Poliquin, King, Pavel, Francis, surely you can put your goals to paper, construct a plan, analyze it, tweak it all in accordance with the desired end result. As far as the supplement issue, I have made a pact with myself that I must remember that supplements are not substitutes, that they are to be used in conjunction with a near perfect diet. Why would I want to put the roof on a house in which the foundation is not sturdy???
