Best Splits for EDT

I was thinking about taking on an EDT style of training and was wondering what splits have been the most successful for you guys…

(On a side note I’m at the gym 5 times/week)

Don’t worry about ‘best’. I use EDT as a complete variation to the previous program, kind of like a volume cycle after i’ve been pushing hards and my joints are sore from heavy lifting. I do 3X a week, full body. Last night was 4X5 Military press, 1x5 deadlift, before 2 PR zones of rack pullups to neck/reverse crunch with DB between ankles, and Power cleans/tricep extension. Feel good today. I’m not saying that this is the greatest ever, but it’s cool. Cleans will make you sweat! I usually do something like this- some big exrcises, some BB stuff. I get my best gains on this after low volume, high intensity, as a kind of rebound

sounds pretty intense.

I can’t do a full body though cuz I plan on cycling this program through 5 days/week.

I was thiking of doing a 3 day split that I could repeat after one days rest. Maybe something like 2 twenty minute PR zones per day:

Day 1 - Chest and Biceps
Day 2 - Legs and Abs
Day 3 - Back and Triceps

and maybe just do some shoulder work at the end of one of these days, because I can’t seem to figure out where I’d be able to fit it in!

I have a four day program, 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off. I like it so far. Day 1 and Day 3 are full body plus, Day 2 and 4 are arms only using an EDT arm program.

Day 1
Front squats and bench press
Pull up and dips
Calves

Day 2
Bent over rows 5x5 (added in to get a pull motion)
BB curl and rev grip pushdowns
Down facing angle bench hammer curls and DB tricep extension

Day 3
Overhead squats and clean pulls
Leg extension and leg curls
Calves

Day 4
DB preacher curl and decline db skull crushers
EZ bar reverse curls
Close grip bench with rev grip
Low cable curls, alt hands.
