What resource do you use to find the nutritional value of your food? I’ve just started my food log, and I seem to be spending an inordinate amount of time trying to find the protein/carb/fat content of the foods I eat.
Before anyone tells me to do a search, I have, but only found posts that were a year or more old. Has anything come out in the past year that surpasses the “Fitday” program and the like? I’d really like something that could be sync’d to a PDA.
There is a decent book called, “The Most Complete Food Counter”, by Annette B. Natow and Jo-Ann Heslin. I had one that was better and even included things like NZ grass fed lamb, but I can’t find it!
Anyway, it is a hassle at first, but if you are like most people and eat the same things over and over, it will be alot less work after a couple of weeks becaue you can then just review your previous entries instead of constantly looking things up.
