I think that bit is partially true about the fds. Same with regulation, some areas too much others too little. When you say they don’t regulate enough, sounds like you have something specific in mind. Could I ask what that is?

CRaw almonds don’t have to be regulated and can have animal feces on them, and they don’t care…I got food poisoning from them a couple of years ago…also, extra virgin olive oil. A mfr can slap an evo label but could really have anything in it. I follow other countries such as usk on many products to make sure labels aren’t bs and get the good stuff. Also, many natural processed meats say no nitrates but disguise it through other labeling. Most cinnamons you get a grocery store are fake and none of the good properties are there. Ceylon is the healthy stuff but loses flavor in baking. I use king Arthur Flour Vietnamese cinnamon when baking and Ceylon to non baked goods since ceylon is the ā€œrealā€ stuff. Edit Hershey’s dark chocolate bar is 45% cacao and a dark choc should have at least 70% and Hershey’s doesn’t list on label pfft

Not exactly. In the other forums the subject gets discussed here and there, but for in depth ā€œthis is my cycle etc.ā€ thats the place. I’m not aware of any formal rules. That’s just the general gist of it.

Wow you take this labeling/ingredients chit seriously, never knew any of that. Never had food poisoning either, thank god. I just don’t get the witch hunt towards many compounds, a lot of which are beneficial. Just seems unreasonable to me.

It may be a difference in nomenclature. I’m glancingly familiar with methamphetamine being used medically, but informally methamphetamine= meth= crystal.
