Want to gorge on calories? Go to a steakhouse and order a 1 kg T-Bone with double serve of potato and bread on the side. Can’t afford that? Visit your butcher on the way home.
Start acting all self-righteous when you have results to speak of. I’ll eat steak and shake, chipotle, and dairy queen whenever to my hearts content, though that may not be with any regularity.
1. I didn’t act self-righteous, I expressed amazement and disgust.

 2. I’m happy to post proof of my results now and compare them to yours.

Glucose whilst fasting: 3.8 mmol/L
Total Chol: 2.8 mmol/L
LDL Chol: 1.7 mmol/L

Let me know if you want to me to scan and upload proof. I’d be interesed in your ‘results’ in this area. My goals don’t involve removing all my body hair, rubbing baby oil all over my body and posing in my underpants. I would like to live a long healthy life however.
1. You came off as self-righteous in your amazement and disgust. Who cares what someone else is eating just because they don’t prescribe to what your idea of someone who lifts weights should be? If I recall you said you were formerly fat, I could show disgust at that but I don’t.
 2. Feel free. My goals are the same, long life, look good nekid, be strong. I have no desire to rub baby oil all over or prance around on stage but I do prefer looking good. There is no such thing as bad food, only bad times to eat certain foods.

Feel free to look at my results in my hub. I’ve got videos from my last meet, pictures as recent as 2 weeks. Check out my training log if you want. I document quite well.

For others in the thread I’m doing this on my birthday (april 30th). It will be video taped.

Sorry for having an opinion.

I was joking, but your response made me feel like an asshole. My bad.
I’m sorry, I don’t think I ever spoke with you before so I have no idea about your personality or sense of humor.

You’re not an asshole.
Haha, no worries. E-hugs for e’rbody!

OR eat both.

I don’t care what anyone says. I fucking love baconators.

I’m guilty of baconators myself…doubles and trips!

Just had my 1st 5Guys Double bacon burger. Was daaamn good! My only complaint was that the cheese isn’t melted. But the burgers more than made up for that! Didn’t feel all guilty like when you cheat at Mc D’s, BK or Wendy’s. I’m always hearing about the chemicals they put in they’re burgers while processing them…rumor or not?

 1. You should be disgusted at my being fat. I am disgusted with myself. You SHOULD have the right to express your disgust at fat people without being labelled ‘self-righteous’. However I got fat on a healty diet with too many calories(i.e. pasta, bread, lots of steak, potatos, milk). My LDL Chol has always been low because I can’t stand junk food. Never had a sweet tooth either.

 2. Your hub doesn’t contain the results I mentioned. Merely posing pictures in your underpants/shorts with all your bodyhair removed(as I suspected). So I guess you concede that your arteries have more plaque than mine and your tolerance to insulin is higher? I thought this thread was about junk food as opposed to who’s got big muscles?

That would be a sure bet BONEZ, as I have already posted several pictures of myself, described my body’s appearance and even uploaded a ridiculous bicep pose. What you guys don’t seem to understand is that I’m not obsessed with myself and my appearance. I don’t give a shit what my body looks like, I just want it to be able to rapidly progress in strength/speed/co-ordination/endurance/balance and useful skills such as boxing, Jujitsu, sprinting, marksmanship and bushcraft/survival.

And as I asked before, isn’t this thread about junk food as opposed to who’s got low bodyfat% comp/big muscles and who hasn’t?

Then why the hell ya here?

All this talk about burgers is making me hungry haha. I’ve been to California and absolutely love In N Out. I would put In N Out second and Five Guys third. The best place in my opinion is the burgery company. Anyone living near Emmaus Pennsylvania I strongly urge to go there. Even if you’re a bit away, it’s well worth the trip.

They’re a burger place that has the following meats available for their burger patties: Beef, Turkey, Pork, lamb, salmon, prime rib, tuna, bison, elk, venison, ostrich, and veggie. Yes, they make freaking ostrich burgers! I love this place. Here’s a link to the menu.

No. Its about what people’s recommendations are for calorically dense burger meals. Did the OP mention the word “healthy” even once? If you think hamburgers are junk, then I feel bad for you. And youd also probably be upset by the fact that some people have perfect lipid profiles, regardless of diet, due to genetics. And answer this honestly, how will eating fast food on the rare occasion have harmful effects long term?

Youre just projecting your own narrow mindedness on people who enjoy eating tasty food every now and again. No one gives a single shit if you think fast food is disgusting. If you do harbor such beliefs, why even open a thread about it? Do you take pleasure in causing yourself disgust?

There’s one in Oak Park too, if you’re west.

I love 5 guys, but I’d rather pay 4 bucks for 8 patties from a drive thru than 1 patty from 5 guys.

My favorite is a couple Double Stacks from Wendys.

or hit up In N Out and get a 4x4 with grilled onions… 1,040 calories with 4 burger patties in there. Mmmm Mmmm!
Damn… that looks so tasty…

I definitely think In N Out burgers are better than MDs.

If you live in Chicago, why the fuck would you get anything but Deep Dish pizza and chicago style sausages?

In N Out is great - you can make it work on any “diet.” You can order your burger protein style, which means no bun, which means trace carbs only. And if it’s calories you’re after - roll deep with fries, animal style of course, a 4 X 4, and maybe a shake if you just lifted… My guess is that would come out to close to 1.5kcals
