Best Fast Foods for Bodybuilding

I’m sure I’m not alone here, but I work IT infrastructure which often requires OT in random off site locations sometimes til as late as midnite. This can really put a damper on the diet, I keep extra food in my cubicle but when called to field jobs that are not going well, going back to the office isn’t an option.

When getting fast food is your only option for your next meal what do you tend to go for?? Keep in mind this is a few hours after your work out, probably the second to last meal of the day. I tend to go for the old In N Out double double protein style with a water.

You are asking a very generic question that will attract responses mostly from people who just want to see their name on the screen. What you can get away with at a fast food place depends on; YOUR GOALS, YOUR GENETICS FOR METABOLISM, HOW YOU ATE ALL WEEK, AND YOUR CURRENT PHYSICAL STATE.

If I am trying to gain and I need 6,000cals a day, eating a double cheeseburger isn’t exactly going to do any harm at all. If anything, I will probably grow even faster than someone trying to be extremely strict with a diet while gaining.

If I am trying to lean up and this is not a cheat day, obviously I would stay away from caloricaly dense foods with high saturated fat content and carbs.

Asking what everyone else would do is irrelevant without CONTEXT.

Not true!

I SEE MY NAME ON THE SCREEN!@!

Mmmmm in’n’out

i am all about the 4 by 1’s protein style. 4 patties of meat, one cheese, no bun. Mmmmmm

Kebabs
/thread.

They are the best thing to come out of the middle east. Meat, vegetables, cheese and sauce all wrapped in an edible container. Perfect for the man who doesn’t have time to fuck around using cutlery.

I’ve had a few instances where I’ve picked up 2 double whoppers and just tossed the buns.

I do this quite a bit. Two McDoubles from McDonalds, toss one side of the bun on each, slap the remainders together, and chow down.

For an variation that’s a bit healthier, I do the same thing with two Chipole grilled chicken wraps.

Only if you’re cutting.

im gaining weight right now and anytime im on a quick run and dont have time to get a good meal or a shake in ill stop at wendys by my house and get 2 chicken sandwiches or a chicken sandwich and a double cheese burger and a baked potato or a large chilli and water. good stuff.

dude, just keep a cooler with some food in your car. Whenever I’m out and about with an unsure schedule I throw in a plastic tub of BBQ chicken titties, a tub of mixed veggies with olive oil and cajun spices, then a whole bunch of fruit, and finally some string cheese. I also keep protein powder with me at all times and a bag of almonds in my bag that goes with me wherever I go.

Try it. Its easy, cheap and much healthier than any fast food crap.

best of luck!

Assuming you’re not competing, I don’t see why getting a Roasted Chicken sub from Subway with double meat, whole grain bread, no cheese and all the veggies can hurt you. Customize the sub’s calories to meet your goals.

If you’re cutting get the salad version (In Canada you can turn any sub into a salad for like a $1.29 or something)

I love the angus burgers from McDonald’s.

I wait till i see a deer then flash the high beams and hit the gas and mow down that mother fucker. deer its whats for dinner.

I understand it is all relative to your body type and goal hence the reason I stated what do YOU get. As in what are people doing when in a tight spot and trying to meet their diet. At times I cut at times I bulk whether or not I’m cutting or bulking is irrelevant because I can gain a piece of info from someone that I may use 6 months from now, that and I think it’s interesting to see what others opt for when their diet plans fall thru the roof.

5 dollar large pepperoni pizza from little cesears

When cutting:
McD’s Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (without the croutons) with French Dressing.

When bulking:
Pizza. If I were living in England like you, I would rotate pizza with a curry from an Indian take away.

Arby’s:

Turkey, Bacon, Ranch Market Fresh Sandwhich (comes with tomato and high quality wheat bread)

Taco Bell:

Chicken Fresca Tacos
Chicken Burrito

ask for guac instead of sour cream on anything.

Wendy’s:

Chicken Salad and a Chili

Qdoba and Chipotle:

These are the best places ever to go to, to get honestly healthy food in a hurry.

Disclaimer: For cutting fat there is no comparison to a home cooked and portioned meal.

You’re not a man until you can get one those entire pizzas down along with at least a liter of rootbeer in one sitting.
