Yes but there’s not all over yet. There’s one in Jersey City, NJ and none in NY. I do like them though. Smashburger is still my favorite of all.
Sam, Have you even been to the Checkers in NJ?

The Big Buford meal should come with a lipitor.
Yes I have and I like it. But in my part of NJ they only have checkers in the hood. I have to go to Passaic or Paterson. As good as the Big Buford is, it’s not worth dealing with hard looks and pan handlers.

The checkers on 22 in Union is good though. I always stop there when I’m on that highway.

Checkers and Rally’s are basically the same? I’ve only seen them out of state, and usually in the hood.

There is a Fat Burger in Pacific Beach, Ca only one i’ve ever seen never tried it though reminds me of Goodburger.

But 5 guys when i’m feelin’ fancy and in n’ out when I need a quick 3x3 fix.

Gregon have you ever tried the burgers at Bareback in PB all natty grass fed beef also have a bison burger; there great when you want some quality.

^Probably the dumbest thing to eat post workout.

I think for the majority of posters, mcdonalds should be a rare treat not eaten too frequently. Much better food choices to have post workout. We don’t all have super fast metabolisms.

I look at it this way. Why, unless I have no other options available would I choose to eat McDonalds when I have meat, veggies and rice at home all ready for me to eat post workout? I am getting more protein in for the amount of calories consumed and it just seems much more conducive to building muscle.

The only time I eat McDonalds at the moment is the rare occasion that I am so bored with what I am eating that I just need a quick, salty, fatty, hamburger, to eat, make me feel like shit afterwards because I don’t like eating it and then I can go back to eating whatever I am making for that day at home.

Now there are some exceptions. People who have a very hard time gaining weight and stay lean, someone who is very heavy muscularly and needs a ton of calories to gain more muscle are two that come to mind. But I think those people are far and few between. And unless you’re lean I don’t want anyone thinking they have a hard time gaining weight, you’re just not training hard enough. Don’t really know where I am going with this shit.

If you want avoid hard looks, panhandlers and teenagers circling your car on bicycles I’d also stay away from the one on Communipaw Ave in JC.

Today I tried all three of the new One Third pounders at McDonald’s. In order from best to worst:

Mushroom and Cheddar
Bacon and Cheddar
Deluxe

EDIT: I guess you could say I ate a one-pounder.

Haha, my girlfriend is from JC. I know exactly what your talking about. I deal with it whenever I visit her family. There no shortages of ghettos in dirty Jersey.

Sorry for having an opinion.

I can’t believe so many lifters would even consider eating this sort of shite. The pictures of those burgers make me want to puke. I can’t even walk past McDonalds and other fast food places without feeling sick from the smell of the saturated fats. This was true before I even went on a diet.

Want to gorge on calories? Go to a steakhouse and order a 1 kg T-Bone with double serve of potato and bread on the side. Can’t afford that? Visit your butcher on the way home.

Start acting all self-righteous when you have results to speak of. I’ll eat steak and shake, chipotle, and dairy queen whenever to my hearts content, though that may not be with any regularity.

my faves post leg day:

Chipotle burrito bowl, double steak. I would order triple, but ususally when you go double they know you came to play, and hook it up. I double the salsa as well. You know, for fiber and antioxidants.

5 Guys. This place is money. So many toppings. You naysayers may be confusing this delicacy with something else, I dont know a soul who doesnt love this place.

At mcd’s or bk, making quads out of doubles and adding a side of somthing else from the dollar menu, then maybe fries.

BACONATOR. Holy shit what a burger.

PANDA EXPRESS. I have never looked up the macros on this place but it feels like a coma of recovery.

And if you have ever had a publ
ix chicken tenders sub, or any publix sub, you will never go to subway again.

On a side note I find out if I will be working in a rotational corporate leadership development program for one of the aforementioned joints above early next week. If I get it the first rotation is 4 months in-restaurant, before the corporate rotations. If I get it I will have no choice but to take advantage and get huge and do some kind of Waterbury program DLing 15 times a week to put the available calories to good use haha. Fingers crossed the offer is right…

 1. I didn’t act self-righteous, I expressed amazement and disgust.

 2. I’m happy to post proof of my results now and compare them to yours.

Glucose whilst fasting: 3.8 mmol/L
Total Chol: 2.8 mmol/L
LDL Chol: 1.7 mmol/L

Let me know if you want to me to scan and upload proof. I’d be interesed in your ‘results’ in this area. My goals don’t involve removing all my body hair, rubbing baby oil all over my body and posing in my underpants. I would like to live a long healthy life however.

This post bought joy to my soul lol.5 GUYS?For 8 bux,you get a burger and a drink.I called corporate on them and said thats a robbery. RED ROBIN IS THE SHIT and you get endless fries. Damn five guys.If Im going to blow my diet ill go to red robin.

The Counter is where quality burgers are at! Customized, gourmet burgers. They go for like $9 each, but you get what you pay for. They offer so many topping options, up to a pound of meat (weight after cooking), and the most delicious sweet potato fries. I think they originated from the west-coast and happened to open up the only one in GA about 5min from my house. Saw one in Times Square too.

Your problem is you didn’t include a smiley face emoticon. Everyone knows without an emoticon in an internet post, you go from being a playful scamp to a raging asshole.

I’m sorry, I don’t think I ever spoke with you before so I have no idea about your personality or sense of humor.

You’re not an asshole.
