I know it’s a McD’s/fastfood burger’s thread, but you guys are all burger lovers?

My favourite fast food is Subway.

Spicy Italian double meat
I’m a food lover in general. I eat out alot. But being within 15 miles of Manhattan, I’m picky about my delis. I think that’s why I hate Subway, Quiznos and Blimpie.
I hate subway aswell.
You should see what the preservatives do to the salads if you keep a sub in the fridge for
more than a day.
Has anyone else noticed how all subs from subway taste the same anyway?

Dude it’s fast food. If you’re going to worry about preservatives, bad oils and whatever else you’re better off not eating fast food.

It doesn’t bother me, fast food is a treat not the norm.

hrmm… I’ve never heard of 5 guys but apparently there are locations in Canada and a few by my house

5 guys destroys mcdonalds in every way possible though.
I agree with the double quaps but …

5 guys burgers are small, dry and expensive. Their fries are worth the trip though.
I’ve never once in over 50 trips there have ever had a dry burger. They’re the opposite. I love their cajun fries too but they give too damn many.
Bite your tongue, no such thing as too many of Five Guys’s fries.
Haha, I usually hate all french fries but love the cajun ones at 5 guys. I’m probably too stuffed with peanuts by the time I get them.

I went once, small dry burger. I went a second time, same thing. So I never went back but I’d be willing to try again maybe I just caught them on a bad week. I will say the burgers I got didnt look like BONEZ pic, that shit looks amazing.
Hmm. Maybe they just don’t make them right in that particular restaurant. In my area, they’re the greasiest burgers you can get and I’ve been to 4 locations in Northern NJ.

5 guys is pretty good. They’ve recently started opening quite a few of them in southern California and I ate there like 2 months ago. I really liked the customizability (is that even a word?) with jalapeños and stuff but I do prefer In N Out… Probably cause I grew up eating it.

Theres a kinda new place around here called Burger Lounge… Anyone eaten there? It’s a gourmet burger spot and it’s incredible! Not cheap but super good.

Save yourself the runny diarrhea and do a drive by, keep going to the house where something good is waiting for you.

Wish I could say it wasn’t the norm for me… lol

I have absolutely no idea how but I feel better and stronger, and over the course of a few weeks I will even look leaner and healthier (aside from the nose bleeds while squatting from time to time) when I go on a total shit eating binge.

My current diet is freaking ridiculous, but I am progressing just as I want to with my physique, and I am getting stronger faster than on a traditional diet of 6-8 “healthier” meals.

As for another suggestion, if you are lifting around say 10 am on a weekend then I love having 5-6 sausage egg and cheese mcgriddles about 8-830am.

If I go to mcdonalds later, say post workout, I will get a shake, big mac, 10 piece chicken nuggets, 5 piece chicken selects, large fries, and an apple pie with milk.

If I don’t do that I just drink a half gallon of chocolate whole milk post workout. 1680 calories.

Do you have Fatburger in the states? Their stuff is fresh also. Never seen a 5 Guys before
Nikki9591 wrote:
I’m jealous, I have to drive 15 minutes to eat their burger. And I don’t eat there, so the 15 minute ride back home with that smell in the car kills me.
First tiem I ever picked up five guys, I got it to go, was driving home, and got stuck in a D.C. area traffic jam. Had the paper sack next to me in the car with a large order of fries. I ended up crushing the whole thing while in traffic before I got home.

It was only the next time I went there that I realized just how damn many fries I had eaten.

oh and gregron, Burger Lounge is good, but awfully expensive, and sometimes full of hipster douchebags.

But if you can get them to make you a special with a turkey burger on top of a beef burgers, it’s pretty yummy.

Yes but there’s not all over yet. There’s one in Jersey City, NJ and none in NY. I do like them though. Smashburger is still my favorite of all.

Hmmm just found out that there are three 5 Guys locations in Chicago… hmmm…

true… their veggie green salad with the lemon vinaigrette is so good! get that with your burger meal… tastey!
Rocky2 wrote:
I like ordering 3 McDouble’s Ketchup only. I can easily finish those before I pull into my driveway 3 minutes later.
Thats what I ordered sat night, after drinking.
I tossed 2 of the buns and tossed the sextuplet burger in the mic for 20 seconds
delicious.

5 guys is the shit.

McD’s is convenient if I’m low on cals… 2 mcdoubles (remove a top bun and a bottom bun, put meat together and make it a McQuadruple). Also 2 mcchickens, same trick, make it a double mcchicken.

Fries if you want extra carbs / nuggets if you want more protein. $5 total.

5 Guys sucks my 2 balls. Sounds like most people here have never been to a proper burger chain. Go to Texas and try a Whataburger. Definitely the best “fast food” burger around. And, if you’re going to Micky D’s to grub get whatever sounds good to you as long as it’s not the Big Mac taco [not it’s real name]. That’s probably the worst thing I’ve eaten as an adult.

Seeing as how I had both Whataburger and Five Guys… Five Guys is still better.

=D

Sam, Have you even been to the Checkers in NJ?

The Big Buford meal should come with a lipitor.
