Best Diet for a Boxer/Kickboxer

What would be the best prot./carb/fat ratio for fat loss for someone who is training as a boxer/kickboxer?

How many calories do I ingest?

I am 160lbs and need to get down to aprox. 145 by Aug.5/05. I will be training 5-6 days per week with weights 2-3 times per weeks, intervals 3 times/wk, boxing 4 times per week.

I assume that you merely need to drop the 15 pounds for weigh-in. Dropping 5 pounds of pure water weight is not all that difficult (unpleasent, but easy). Try to preserve as much lean mass as you can (HOT-ROX is great for this). Trust me, that extra 5 pounds of muscle makes a huge difference in a fight.

As to the exact number of calories:
Make a food log of whatever you eat now. Then reduce the amount by 500 kCal/day. If that does not lean you out, drop it another 500.
