I’ve just finished Mike McDonald’s program.
Really great program. My max went from 235(i divided weight by 250 to get it in %) to 270 pounds at 155 BW. For people who need a great intermediate bench press program that program might be the best to gain strength quickly.
Therefore, i would like to know if people knew other specific bench-press programs for my strength level. I was thinking of a smolov JR cycle or something. Just let me know what you think.

I’ve never seen anyone bench with an ez-curl bar before. What weight were you using on the ez-curl bar bench? May have to give a cycle of this a try.
I put a 45 + 25 and i take a 2-sec pause at my chest. It kills triceps and improve overall strength for sure. The only bad side is that it hurts the wrists a bit and it is really tough to get 160 lbs to your chest off the floor. Some times, i used to do close-grip triceps as a replacement.
