Just re-read the older article “high pull blitz”. Has anyone tried it for bench. Coach did say he was running it in the article. The heavy days are straight forward but how would you do "very heavy’. Ramp to single then partials, then static holds?

Use a smith machine. I prefer push ups for static holds.
I too am interested in knowing this. My bench press is the only exercise that lags behind.
I wrote an article about it like 17 years ago!
