Bench Form Check

what do u guys think? haha any takers?

nobody has tips on this decline bench?

I do not think you need to be worried about how this 13 year old girl bench presses.

I apologize, my word choice did not accurately convey my intentions. I was not implying that this video was causing you stress, but more that I did not think you needed to concern yourself with how she benches. In my experience, I do not find that I get stronger when I do that.

Just my opinion.

Just shows that PL isn’t always about getting stronger, but sometimes just getting better at the movement. And I don’t have a problem whatsoever with that. I think that’s an awsome utilization of flexibility for a bigger bench. And as someone who used to do kung fu, I have a great appreciation for flexibility in sports performance. Even powerlifting.

I have seen far greater arch in men, and far less range of motion in bigger men, so I don’t see a problem. I might even have a little arch envy because my lack of flexibility makes me lift nearly flat backed.

i agree i just bring it up because it seems like she’s training with people that look like they do have a lot of skill (especially the other female bodybuilder) i just wonder why they don’t try to show here what she’s doing wrong. this poor girl has almost as much dislikes as likes on the video. just curious me being curious me

Her bum WAS on the bench throughout the entire press. Am I sensing some jealousy that she is maybe a better bench presser than yourself?

She did. There’s no technicality in the rules that says which part of your ass needs to be on the bench. The bottom of her ass is quite obviously in contact throughout the lift.

maybe you should re watch the video because her ass wasn’t on the bench, her pants are just black so the first time u watch you don’t notice. she’s shaped like a rainbow with terrible form and my bench is 346 so no jealousy here. maybe for you though

and plus no disrespect to powerlifters or anything but what she does and most PL’s do are NOT respectable bench presses, when i see somebody who’s hands are so spread out on the bar they are almost touching the plates, have their chest a foot off of the bench and press for a 6 inch range of motion its just pathetic. no offense to anyone here or anything but thats a bunch of bullcrap

look at 1:10 and you will see her ass isn’t on bench

And do you have some nice proof of your perfect form 346 full range of motion flat backed bench press? How about a video?

challenge accepted i will post a video on sunday. and ill send you a PM the second i post it. lets see your bench press while I’m at it though? my arms with be SHOULDER WIDTH give or take an inch

I think you might be confused. Her ass is most certainly on the bench after her setup at 1:10. Again, the very bottom of your ass is still your ass; there’s no stipulation that says a certain part, or certain percentage, of your ass has to be in contact. Any contact will do.

Also, I think we all look forward to the magnificent display of technical mastery your video will provide.

You were the one complaining about form for a strong girl executing fine form, not I. You were the one boasting of your 346 bench in perfect flat back full ROM form, not I.
