Beginner's Program?

If a person is new to weight training and has gotten form down but they are putting up alot more weight than most beginners do should they still stick with a beginner program?

what is a ‘beginner program?’

you should stick with a simple program and increase weight every workout until progress stalls out, no matter if you rock bottom squat 225 your first workout or have trouble with the bar. you add in periodization and assistance exercises when they are necessary to make your strength keep increasing.

There’s nothing wrong with a beginner program. The only reason you would use something complex is because you are a professional bodybuilder competing in Mr. Olympia. Stick with the basics.

as long as you are progressing, use the beginner program
