First, read these two threads; they’ll clear up a lot of questions/misconceptions you may have.

After reading those, I’d read up on the Anti-Bodybuilding Hypertropy Program (otherwise known as ABBH). This would be a good CW program to start with.

But, adding muslce is more than just what you do in the gym. You have to remember to eat big. That’s where Dr. John Berardi’s Massive Eating comes in.

Try reading up a bit and searching the archives - you’ll pick up a ton of info. Then come back to us with more specific questions.

Hope this helps.

Hey, you’re only 13. How long have you been lifting? Chad’s programs are great, but I think it might be premature. You should lift in the 8-15 rep range for awhile. I started training my girlfriend’s 14 year old brother. The general concensus among the strength coaches here at T-Nation was that he not approach his 5RM without at least a year of training AND a solid base of strength.

Son of a. . . I hate it when I miss things like that.

I’ll just go back to staring at shinny things.

(Good advice, jsbrook.)

Good luck.

I was just looking at CW’s Total body Training and think it would be good for a beginner if you adjusted the reps/sets to stay in the range previously mentioned.

T-Nation and arnolds encyclopedia of bodybuilding. where i learned everything i know about lifting. read the articles, forums, and the arnold bible. youll get everything you need to know.
