Some guy did say thro that i shoudnt eat big at all because of my lifts.
Just to repeat my above point, some people aren’t going to agree with you, get over it. You aren’t going to change their mind, nor is it your job to do so. Just move on with your life by doing things that will improve it.
When did i ever say it was my job to change there minds? and when did i ever say that i wanted everyone to agree with me? i just want to know what you guys think of ‘You only bulk up when you are benching 500lbs’ ‘you only eat when you feel like it’…i asked something and those guys told me to forget about being a strongman as i am not 6’5+ to be heavily built despite me telling tgem about guys like zach gallmann or mariuz pudz.
But once again you guys are patronising the hell out of me, i know bb.com is trollsvilles these days but none of them were patronising.
I felt we were making some progress, I think I was wrong. I don’t think there’s anything to be gained for either of us here.
Alright, I’ll try to be as unpatronising as possible.
Bullshit. Only a retard would believe that.
Bearshit. If that worked how come you’re only 177lbs?
Are you petarded too? You can be big IN PROPORTION TO YOUR HEIGHT. Of course you will never be as HEAVY as a 6’5+ dude without becoming a fat fuck.
With your way of thinking, you deserve to be mocked.
If you’re that mentally weak, you can forget about being fucking strong. Strength takes balls to achieve. You don’t sound like you have any. I bet you’ll wet your pants one day while setting up for a max deadlift attempt.

Most of the top strongmen in the world are tall. That’s probably all they’re saying.
Nope they saying i will be big as a strongman as according to then 5’11 is too short, he saying all dtrongmen are 6’5+ I even gave him some names of strongmen such as zach gallmann, mariuz pudz, doug hepburn, darren sadler etc but he just ignored it and telling me am not tall enough.
I know height plays are great role in certain events such as atlas stones because you need great reach soo would defiantly struggle.

Plant your own seeds. Take control of your own life. If you have seen someone huge at 5’11" then you know it’s possible. People can always tell you what they think and give you their opinion on how unlikely possibilities may be, which can be true. But motivation and dedication are the traits that help achieve success - the more you have the more likely you’ll succeed. Anyone that doesn’t have those traits in the field they’re pursuing will likely fail and the ones that do will keeping pushing after every failed attempt.
The first place to start is to stop saying you can’t do it and put in some hard work and record progress. Progress and motivation can build off one another.
Last thing, don’t use genetics as an excuse. IMO, genetics probably only accounts for 5-10% of performance.

Holy mother of God!
THAT’S WHY THERE ARE WEIGHT CLASSES!!!
I was talking about height not weight…my ultimate goal is to be borderline heavyweight…yess without steroids, i will get fat but at the end of the day i train to be big and strong not to be small…it pisses me off when people say 185lb is massive for 5’11 when i looked and felt skinny as fuck at that never mind now.
I know doug hepburn, zach gallmann were short at 5’8 but weight 280 to 300lbs…(i heard 300 is light compared to the super heavyweights who are apparently normally 6’6 and 350 to 400lb or more)btw far i know but i could be wrong…pro strongman dont have weight classes

Warrick Brant is 5’10" so tell this guy to shut the fuck up. The guys you’re talking about is either an idiot or trolling you. Let it go.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but you aren’t going to be on WSM so why do you even care. Just be the best strongman you can be. /thread

FUCKING EXACTLY.
Seriously OP. This is the only thing worth saying. To do what you want to do, eat and train. A lot. For a long time.
OP. Next time you want to type something in this thread, stop what you’re doing and read this. Again, and again, and again.
Squabbling about whether this forum is too patronizing, or whether BB.com is trollsville, or pretty much any other thing you’ve said in this thread other than expressing your desire…it’s all stupid. You want to be big and strong. We all get that. It’s crystal clear by now.
Eat. Lift. Eat more. Repeat for many years.
This is not telling you to stop posting at all. Please feel free to post questions that are actually related to training and nutrition. Those are actually productive. But also, just knock off the asinine posts about who’s telling you what, or if one forum is mean to you while another is nice. There is nothing to be gained from that, for you or anyone else.

I’m 5’11, between 185 and 190. But I bet I like A LOT different from you. And I can squat and deadlift over 500. And I reached the 500+ deadlift naturally. I’ve also competed in strongman.
This should be enough for you to stop with all this rubbish about height and weight. A person can be very fucking strong at the height and weight you’re at. You just need to lift and eat more. For a long time.

I might be on WSM or i might not, we both dont know that answer…i bet if arnold schwarznegger had internet in his day, he would talk about his goal of looking like reg park with people telling him ‘us normal guys will be like those guys as reg park was a genetic freak’
But anyway i have created a log and another thing, a guy on here recently said ‘i weigh between 180 and 190 and am very strong soo stop worrying about weight’ yess you are serously strong but you are still not big soo other words we have different goal (no disarespect btw)as i want to be well over 200lbs and myy ultimate goal is strong heavyweight type and i will do what every it takes to get to that size and strength.

None of us dont know the answer to that, you cant just say such a person will never be WSM justvby reading a few posts of someone not even if you met the guy.

Lol, just stop. People are entitled to their own opinions and you have to accept that. Stop worrying about what other people think unless they’re giving you solid advice.

There is no way Brian Shaw or Hafthor Bjornsson or Warrick Brant or Ed Hall would give a shit about what random people on the internet have to say about whether they can or can not do something. Arnold did not give a shit what anyone thought. The guys that are at the top of everything don’t give a shit about anything except reaching that goal. People telling them they can’t just fuels their fire.
You let random people you’ve never met bother you. You don’t use it as fuel rather you let it douse the flame. So ya, unless you change your mentality we both know you will never be WSM. Even then it’s a long uphill battle.
Go read Alpha’s training log. That is the best thing you could do today to get you on the right path aside from turning your computer off and going to the gym.
