I am so, so tempted to order one. (I really did think “use yourself as fertilizer” had legs too, but yeah, this is a bit better.)
HAHAHA damn this is too funny
I love the new avatar, dt79.

Punisher’s suggestion that you cook and eat a meal every time before you post, while humorous, would undeniably move you closer to your stated goal of the Bear Mode / Rugby Prop physique than where you currently stand. So instead of freaking out about it, maybe take it into account.

To clarify, it was only before posting about how much he disliked a certain website or youtube fitness celebrity, not every time he posts. The method to the madness is 2-fold.

1: He posts about them semi-frequently, but it isn’t in every post. He wouldn’t be putting away 10,000 calories a day like this, but it would get him a little bit extra over time.

2: Those comments have zero value toward reaching his goal or improving this site. It’s just bitching. By no longer engaging in it, he improves himself AND his surroundings, which in turn help to improve him.

It might also help to develop some quick cooking skills. Something easy, like a 10 egg omelet or a sweet potato or something.

The ironic thing is that actually had a meal before i posted but yeah i organised my meal plan using a workout and meal log but now i just need to time it properly and sort my sleep pattern our.

I might post my plan on the site:

Btw sorry for the hostility, i know now you was giving me a advice with some added humour, it just thatvi have bumped into a lot of trolls.

Even better, consider a log on this site. It holds you accountable and, while it won’t get as much traffic as this thread, you will almost certainly get some helpful advice along the way, free from trolls.

That’s ironic.

To answer, since I left this hanging and didn’t think this thread would be revived.

It was meant to be read in the same way as this: “I have a habit of staying home on the weekends, but I really like the idea of going for a weekly hike through the mountains”. I.e., I like the idea that takes me out of my habitual behavior.

Is my food and training log good?
Here is what i done:
Workout A
The standing press : 23kg 3x5
Deadlifts 160lb 3x5
Chin ups 1x5 Bodyweight
Workout B
Squats 90lb 3x5
Bench press 81lb 3x5
Power lifter (i was only praticing with this weight as i need to learn it)

Here is what i eat:

Breakfast
2 whole eggs
2 slices of eggy bread (one whole egg each slice)
200g of chicken liver
1 Cup of oatmeal with milk and 1/2 granola
Meal 2
1 cup of rice
200g of ground beef
Chili con carne
Meal 3
4 Potatoes
1 Can of tuna
1 cup of veg

I have 2 or 3 homemade protein shakes:

2 scoops of protein powder
2 Cups of milk
3 or more tbs of olive oil or 6 heavy cream (i prefer olive oil as it lasts a lot longer)

I use to add peanut butter but all it did was send me to the toilet lol, i prefer it on sandwiches.

What you guys of my log?
theiceman13 wrote:

 1. It would be better in the logs section, I feel you will avoid unnecessary negative comments there.

 2. Your food quality looks fine (I have plenty of respect for anyone who can eat 200g of liver regularly), have you worked out your total calories? That’s probably your no.1 priority right now.

 3. Hows the scales situation progressing?

I agree.

Start a log in the training logs section. Give it a funny name, like “The Iceman Cometh” and take yourself a little less seriously. Relax. Peruse some other logs, I highly recommend ThePunisher’s and Alpha’s log, as you will learn a lot just by reading those.

I dont mind some negetive comments, it just when people allways assume when they dont know northing about me but i have to admit that i need to chill out.

You guys including punisher have helped me and gave me great advice on my goals soo thank you for that.

Oh as for the scales, well i am gonna just concentrate on my lifts before i bulk properly as yesterday, i left my workout too late and only did two exercises squats and standing press.

This is the internet, there is pretty much no way away from negative comments, helpful and unhelpful. My thinking is that in the logs section, you are likely to get less of the unhelpful ones.

This is one of only 2 reason I joined this site. I hope your training goes well.

Yeah am gonna still post in this thread by i update my log in the log section and thank you too…i have to admit other websites including SS have serously gone down hill with too many wanting to look like a twilight reject and telling me not to bulk up as gaining fat wont speed the muscle despite me telling them my goals…they are telling the total opposite of what mark rippetoe says.

Oh and weighed myself, it says 177lbs lol.

I’ve never been one to criticise other peoples goals, each to their own, but I do think it’s important to make sue you’re using the right tools for your goal, whatever it is. In your case I think you’re getting the hang of it so keep working and keep us updated.

I think it would really boost your productivity if you stopped complaining about things people said on the internet.

People are going to say shit you don’t agree with. Unless it directly affects you, my advice is to just get over it. Not everyone is going to agree with you, not everyone is going to like you. You have to be OK with that.
