I had two questions on the program, what’s a good alternative for leg extensions? Lumberjack squat, reverse lunges, walking lunges or something else? Also how would the loaded stretch on the incline lateral raise work? The program is awesome and I appreciate the time from anyone who answers.
I ran this program recently and really liked it. Though, why do you need an alternative? Lack of equipment? Knees don’t like them?
If it’s lack of equipment, try body weight leg extensions or sissy squats. The leg extensions on that day give a break from the other compound lifts that hit the quads, so these options offer something similar. You could try the heels-elevated DB squat or the duck lunge from this Lee Boyce article, though they’re tougher to do as MYO sets.
Re. the loaded stretch on the incline lateral raise, just push the DBs “into the floor” and slightly away from your body. Not quite a stretch, but you’ll feel it.
