you shouldn’t bother yet. you can’t go wrong with getting as much fish oil and protein powder as you can for christmas.
be warned though, at 13 you’re not going to get huge. you can build a great foudation for a few years time, and be above your friends in strength , size and health, so don’t be discouraged.
All protein is made of 20 standard amino acids chained together in different orders, whether it’s from a animal (like chicken or milk), plant (like beans) or from a protein shake (usually made from cow milk).
BCAAs are Branched Chain Amino Acids, which are 3 of those 20 amino acids that are named because of branched chains in their molecular structures. BCAAs are used mostly for muscle building - they’re not very useful for making other things in your body.
Fish oil is a special type of fat. Your cells use fat to make their surfaces, and your cells can make better surfaces with fish oil fat then they can with french fry fat.
Anyway, you’re probably best off with a protein powder. Fish oil is great for the whole family, and is pretty cheap if you buy it from Sam’s or Costco. Creatine, which is found in red meat, is good too, but less important at this point
