Brett,I own the ‘powertec squat machine’. I’ve had it for 6-7 years and never really used it.

I was just feeling it out last night. Gonna keep it in as a staple BBB exercise for a bit.

Its very smooth but feels more like a squat-leg press mix. Works the quads more then squats.

As for that machine, that looks harder to me than doing a squat. Your farmers carries are huge.

Ok. I really suck at any kind of leg press or any leg machine. Though to be honest my squat is nothing to write home about either. Hope you have enjoyed your Thanksgiving.

the squat machine is great for BBB as DCA stated - I get more ‘pump’
then strength

Your power tech looks just like what I use at the gym for calve raises and some times the front presses. Looks like you’ve been having some good workouts. Are your outside workouts in the snow yet?
