BBB:Big, Bald and Beautiful

9/28
front squat 245x3,280x3,315x3,225x3,3,3
ab roll 135x10,10,10,6,10
reverse lunge barx10,10,10 (each leg)

Really focused on getting low. I set my safety bars 1 notch lower and tried to hit it every time. My back and right knee were killing me. I’m hoping over time this will stretch shit out.

Nice front squatting. That is one hard movement, especially with that weight.

Front squats with 315. Amazing. You and Ouroboro should put on a show with your impressive front squatting. Charge money and become rich.

that’s some badass FS!! Good work.

how’s the meet prep going steve?? are you planning on cycling your training at all leading into your comp?? are you going to do a full meet??

I’d cripple my self trying to unrack a 315 front squat, goos damn job Steve.

Thanks all. This meet is deads, bench or deads/bench. Saddly no squating. So I’m using my squat night to work on my front squat and flexibility(or lack there of). I’ll get in two and a half cycles before the meet. I’ve upped my calories and feel stronger then I have in quite awhile. I really want to total over 1000 lbs.

you’ll get that and then some my friend.

that is some strong work. I am hoping to get my front squat up there over the next year or so

That’s for sure! Tough getting time for yourself with the kids schedule and school, that’s great work.

Scott,I sure hope you’re right.
MJ,my front squats are still a work in progress.
DZ,juggling schedules can get tricky. But lifting at home really helps.

I really need to set up a home gym. it would be so much easier to stay focused and keep on top of things. Nice lifting today.

Thanks Scott. The home gym really works for me at this stage of life.

I can’t wait for a deload next week. Feeling fatigued. Deadlifts tomorrow.

I’d be fatigued too, those MP’s and barbell rows are nothing to sneeze at.

I’ll bet that will be a monster pull day. Your training is looking good Steve

Thanks Joe and Wilson.
10/2 (9 am-to early for me)
deads 375x5,425x3,475x6
hanging(ugly)leg raises 5 sets
2’’ deficit lunges 5x5 each leg

A lot of weak links shown today. I am so bad at hanging leg raises and deficit lunges. But I am very happy with deadlifting 475x6.

Good work being done here! Very impressive!

I can’t imagine why!

Thanks lady and gentleman.

Tweeked my low back. I will be spending this week resting it. Glad its a deload week.
