Kevin,the pain is on the inside quad muscle next to my knee. Feels like the muscle is coming off the bone. Seems to happen when I try to squat deep. (which is parallel for me)

That body weight work looked almost Crossfitish… there something you want to tell us?
I like the body weight stuff. Also the sled dragging and the big backyard strongman playground. Beats going to the gym all the time.
The 250 is great but I’m really impressed more by the 30 mp reps and the 90 pullups. Anyone can hit a single heavy lift but volume like that takes, dare I say it, functional strength or how bout muscle maturity.

Yeah me too, I think they take that stuff to far but some of it probably really is useful.
I actually like doing handstand push ups.

Handstand pushups. Intersting. Don’t know if I could do one.
I will admit to going to a crossfitt gym once or three times.
bumpers- real bars rings fun toys.
I played jumped on boxes did some o-lifts and crazy pullups
said no thanks to the cool aid or the price
doing the muscle ups and the crazy kip pull-ups they do really made the tendinitis scream
I like handstand pushups 5x5 AB with OH squats.

Thank you Harry for a little kick in the ass. I’ve found a local push/pull Dec 5 I’m going to enter. Weird there are a lot of local push/pull meets but no full meets. That sucks because squat is my best lift (when I can hit depth).

1000 push/pull total would be awesome. i would think in a full meet you would be push’n 1600 plus.

I’ve got my training all mapped out between now and Dec 5th. Start training tonight. This federation is fairly new and local to NH and MA. Makes it easy for me.
