BBB:Big, Bald and Beautiful

Great thread title. And nice work in here.

Huge squats Bro!

Skip,if I dragged you that would be a great posterior chain workout.I’ll try it if you will.

KP,I’d run in the house crying, curl up in the corner while eating a snickers.

Jack, the other thread title I thought about was,‘thats your dad without a shirt on not a bear’. I haven’t trimmed the back down lately.

Colin,thanks. A 30’’ inseam helps a little though.

Well…okay…but only if it is through the mud. Dry ground hurts!

As for the 30" inseam helping…that is the same as mine, and I can/could only do 440# once!

hill sprints
agility drills

got home after work yesterday and we had company. So the sprinting had to wait until this morning.

440 squats and hill sprints…what is left for the rest of mere mortals? Great work. I will trade you and 1/2 hour of squat instruction for 1.5 hours of lacrosse instruction for your boy(s)?

Not to steal your thread but quick story. For the last 5 days I’ve had to carry part of another route. First stop is one of the local High Schools. Front door is at the top of 2 sets of very high and steep steps. They get at least a tub of mail each day. Yesterday, this cute, young, teacher’s watching me come up the steps. I’m doing them two at a time, I can tell she’s impressed. I get to the top, she looks at me and says, “They didn’t tell you about the elevator did they?”
“What?”
“Yeah, right thru the door down there.”
I’m gonna kill the SOB regular when he gets back.
Lovin’ your work outs.

Nice work Steve. With the lifting and running, must be an impressive sight. I’ve been trying to get in some quick bike rides after supper. Thanks for being a good role model.

Rocks,sprints, and squats… OH MY!!!

Damn good workouts you have going Steve!

Great thread title. Great sense of humor. Oh, and great workouts.

But Harry’s still the best.

OG,you most likely have better squat form then I do. Maybe I should take some advice from you.

Harry, still breaking young teachers hearts I see. Have you taken the elevator yet?

Dan,my working out may be setting a good example but my diet lately definitely has not.

Wilson,this isn’t Kansas any more.

Punnyguy,I’ll let the ‘Harrys the best’ comment slide this time. What, just because he cleans 300+, throws for miles and is damn good looking. Well I guess he is the best. Damn.

1.cleans 165x3,185x3,225x3,185x5,5,5
2.squats 365x3,415x3,470x5
3a.top squat 275x10,10 (had to stop knee and back pain)
3b.calf raise 2 sets
4a.sldl 275x10,10,10
4b.calf raise 3 sets

My right knee and back were spent. Had to stop squatting and switch to sldl which interestingly doesn’t bother my back.

nice friggen work buddy

470 x5 is Huge. Great work.

I think, hope, the punnyguy was talkin about sense of humor. I’ll refrain from humor for a while so you can catch up. Your work out: Do 5 off color jokes, 3 puns, and 1 maximum effort recitial of any Abbott and Costello schtick. Immediately after finishing the above hit yourself in the face with a pie, trip over a barbell, and do a pratfall.

Something like,‘why do strongmen competitors wear kilts? Its easier to sneak up on the sheep.’

10 hill sprints

simple , but I am guessing devastating? how big is the hill? Just curious…

Those 10 hill sprints must have crushed you. Its surprising how destroyed you can feel from something like that.

10 hill sprints!?!!! Damn I’m glad its flat here!!
