Woke up saturday with a stomach issue and didn’t feel good until yesterday. I never got to do the sprints/cleans. Maybe tonight.
Nice Deads, and a front squat of 315 makes me hurl just thinking about it…Great stuff! Stomach issues are the worst. I would rather have a poker in the eye.
I think your body just shut down thinking about supersetting cleans/sprints. Just can’t make myself do sprints. Hope you’re all better.
Maybe I suffer from the same sickness but the sprint/clean combo sounds interesting.
I’ve long thought a cycle of sled sprints and farmer’s walks would be really damn effective.
Stomach is 100% better. Just one of those things.

7 hill sprints
8-10 cone circuits
My oldest son wanted to run but didn’t want to run the hill. So I set up 4 cones 30’x 45’on flat ground. Sprint the long ways and side shuffle the shorter distance. He was happy with this and ran it quite a few times. I mixed up the hill and cone runs.

I forget how he prescribes it but described
a hammer thrower doing it with 400 or more.
Working my way back through all the threads. Damn good lifts here. Kevin hits on what I was thinking. A lot of the thrower’s workouts involved lifting and sprints.
