Keg drag, carry, and Drink is an outdoor activity I can really get behind! Your only problem would be finding your way home, lol…
Make the starting point the liquor store (beer store) and that way you can bring it home and proceed with the post workout nutrition.

semi-sumo deads 315x3,405x3,455x1
regular deads 315x3,1,1 225x1,1
tons of stone lifting
Deads just sucked tonight so I really backed off. I want to try a cycle of conventional deads. I’ve never really done them.
The hole was dug today starting my in-law apartment. Several new awesome stones were unearthed that are now part of my collection. I shouldered a stone tonight I haven’t been able to before. Made up for the suck ass deadlifting.
Wait…what? Did I just read that you did CONVENTIONAL deadlift? I thought you were the one who said that sumo was the only way to go I sure hope this doesn’t end in some sort of cosmic cataclysm!

Is it the deadlift equivalent of dividing by 0?
Count Zero interupt cannot deadlift by conventional
Thanks all. I appreciate the postive vibes about a shitty deadlifting day. All this keg talk makes me want to get completely shitfaced and wake up on the lawn.
Damn you Skip for having such a good memory. I hate it when I get called out. I promise the universe won’t end (I hope).
Ms O,using wrist straps is the equivalent of dividing by 0. Conventional deads are more like X approaching infinity. I thought everyone know that.

Joe is stoned. Again.
I tried straps once to give them a go but didn’t like them. I feel like I get a lot of power from how tightly I grip the bar. To try something different to aid in grip strength, try wrapping your wrists. Clench your fist as tight as you can and then wrap super tight. It’s like it holds the tendons and tightens your grip.

Sounds like a cool trick. Luckily I haven’t had any grip issues. I tried the hook grip once and thought I was going to rip my thumb off.
This is a picture of my new stone. It looks small in the picture but is over 2 feet long and heavy. I was able to get it to my chest and walk with it. I won’t be shouldering it any time soon.

As I’ve said previously we have more rocks up here then we know what to do with. These in the picture were the ones easily pulled off the pile of dirt.

that’s a lot of rocks you have there steve. i’ve thought about buying some concrete forms to make my own stones. just don’t know how i would transport them to the park.
get a ball about the size of stone you want. cut along the seam so it is in 2 halves. duct tape half the seam together (use lots of tape)have someone hold the untaped part open while you shovel in wet and gooey cement. top it off and tape it up. dig a hole the same size as the bottom of the ball so that it doesn’t lose its shape. because the form is airtight, it will prolly take 2 or 3 days to cure through. The only think is I don’t know how you will know how much a ball of a certain size will weigh until after you make it.
