BBB:Big, Bald and Beautiful

Thanks Scott. Do what I gotta do man. In-laws needed a place to live and I have the room. I’m weighing 260 still. So unless you’ve gotten all skinny we’re still bros. You sound like a great parent yourself.

Thats some serious sqaut totals. I know I’m late to the party, but where did you get the stones from?

My yard. NH is full of stones. Lying everywhere. I’ve got quite a few in all differnt shapes and sizes. I now need to buy a cheap scale and get some approx weights of the stones.

strong work going on over here. And here I though my plate score was good, but you take the luck cake.

I need some stones. and a few training partners. or some balls…

Thanks MJ. I did luck out with plates didn’t I. Now I have to get strong enough to use them.

Got my crew together tonight and hit the iron. My 9 year old decided to join us. Talked about tough guy stuff like being the strongest in 5th grade next year. And what to have for dessert. Not your average lifting crew.

That sounds like a great crew. Much better than the freaks and misfits that surround me at my gym. And those presses look freaking stout.

awesome crew - I envy you!

Jack, I’m the only freak in our little gym. I was real happy with my pressing last night. I’ve never been that strong. Don’t know where it came from.

George, we have fun. It was funny last night listening to my 11 year old tell his younger brother what muscles a pull up works.

That crew made you stronger! Great Stuff!! Nice MP work.

What a crew and great pressing, I agree with George!

Sounds like you all had a blast.

That is some good pressing, amd a motley bunch if there ever was one.

Thanks all. I am blessed with a great lifting crew.

Turkish get ups 20xseveral sets, 10xseveral sets (thanks UN42)

I’ve never done these seriously. Very humbling. Yet another exercise I should do more often.

Going on a whale watching trip tomorrow with my son’s third grade. I’m actually excited. Mostly humpbacks and minkies but a blue whale was seen last year and a whale shark several years ago.

Turkish get-ups are a great exercise. How much weight were you using?

The only whale watching we get here is when we go to the pool. :frowning:

If it’s Orcas you’ll be watching, stay out the water. Whaleshark’s up as high as New Hampshire are getting near the top of their range. They like the warm water. Great to get to see one. First blue whale I saw in the water looked like a moving wall. Sounds like real fun. Enjoy.

Steve, sounds like a near perfect crew. I can’t wait until mine are old enough to get in there with me. I am REALLY looking forward to it. And I wish I lived near my Dad. He was always fun to workout with…nothing motivates you like DAD calling you a pussy

And whatcha wanna bet that all the CGB you have been doing has carried over into military? Same muscles, different angle…
Great pressing!

Rick, only a 20 and 10 lb db. My left shoulder hated the 20 after 5 reps. I can’t lock the left elbow. May be from an old injury.

Harry, I guess everyone was surprised about the whale shark because it was so far north. I’ll report my finding tomorrow. I hope to see something amazing.

Your kids will be there sooner then you want. I can’t wait until the day you post your first father and son workout.
