Because we need more multi-part explorations of denominations.
Why do you not believe that baptism saves you now? Or that one can be baptized more than once, against what the holy bible says?

Yes but you must agree that Catholicism is one of the more interesting ones. It also has more things to talk about.
That happens when the God of the universe is your founder and you have 2000 years to develop what he said/did in three years of active ministry.
I like the Baptists. They are deeply religious (which I respect a lot) and not just out to fleece the sheep and bark orders. They really believe in god, whereas catholics are basically money grabbers and actually are atheists(worshipping a false idol, the church).
Baptists don’t drink, so are automatically disqualified.
Friggin Martin Luther…the flashpoint for the now estimated over 20,000 Christian Denominatons
on Earth.
I guess he exposed some of the abuses of The Church at the time…but at what cost in the LONG TERM??
The cost of future utter denominational confusion, maybe Martin Luther shouda kept his mouth shut?
IDK…hard to say.

Why is drinking condemned by the SBC anyway? That’s always been a curiosity to me. I get excessive drinking and I know all the potential pitfalls and negative consequences of a life drowning in alcohol, but the no drinking what so ever I don’t understand. There is certainly NO scriptural precedent for no drinking at all.
So that’s my question for Baptists, why no drinking at all?
What have I done…
Please, just disregard it. It was supposed to be a spoof…
“There is certainly NO scriptural precedent for no drinking at all.”
Neither is there any Scriptual Precedent for prohibiting using the God provided herb, Marijuana.
In moderation…of course.

Please don’t get a job where you’re supposed to forecast stuff.

Because they’re actually secret Muslims

Correct. However, there is a prohibition to breaking the law of the land, unless said law is unjust.

Revealing pic…old fairy walking around in a costume. Baptists don’t do that. A man should dress like a man, not like a clown.
Shephard’s Hook too…how appropriate for the mindless sheep.
“unless said law is unjust.”
Of course you would agree putting non-violent users of a Plant in Cages unjust.
You’re smart to realize Prohibition never works, look what happened with Alcohol Prohibition, and open your
eyes to the current Drug War and Carnage in Juarez mostly because of the illegality of a friggin’ Plant.
Yes, it’s glaringly and obviously “unjust”.
And here I thought we could have a good discussion… My bad.
Ok, someone else start the Lutheran Q&A. Another could begin Methodist. Someone else on Presbyterian. Maybe when we hit Q&A 15 with each we could move on to other denominations, or even entirely different religions.

No point. They all become Catholic bashing venues. Best just to keep it all in one place.
