Don’t get me wrong, the sides are more than worth it thinking long term; I feel great in and outside the gym. The water is very visible even in my ankles.

up another 4lbs this week. Added a lot of cardio to try and keep in shape due to the sudden burst of weight. Making me hungry though.
I’m thinking about upping my adex dose again. No gyno sides at all but the water bloat feels quite bad. I’m drinking a fair bit more water (about 4-5litres a day). Should I watch my salt intake?
My socks are actually tight and leaving some nice indentations on my legs and having trouble getting my training shoes on!
I know tren gives night sweats but do people have similar sides on Enth? I’ve been struggling to sleep well for a few days now but may also coincide with the slight cold I’ve picked up.
Performance-wise I really can’t complain. Adding weight, reps, sets, drop sets, rest pauses etc…
In total I’m up 20lbs; Sure seems like a lot but I feel that it’s a bunch of water, maybe some bone growth (someone might correct me on this), and obviously some muscle (I hope).
Libido is way up and have to find some ‘action’ at least once a day… cough
i have been planning a very similar cycle (exception: frontloading test e), but you seem to be experiencing a great deal of discomfort from the use of dbol. would it be possible to see some pictures to get an idea of how much “bloat” is taking place? Just curious
I wouldn’t take Bakuhatsu’s reaction to dbol as the norm. First of all there are different brands of dbol with their own potency levels which can vary. Then like all compounds; there are those that under-respond, those that respond more or less normally, and those that over-respond. I would put Bak in the latter catagory.
Try for yourself at 30mg/d. It has a short half life of 6 hours or so - so it will leave your system quickly if you don’t like the effects.
Oh! I’ve not posted for a while. I’ll get some pics of my awesome edema. I’m going to up my adex I reckon though (maybe 0.5mg/day). It’s actually improved in the last few days since I finished dbol. It’s mostly in my ankles (can you say pregnant) and face but tbh… I don’t care too much. Libido is up, strength is insane and I feel great. Before I would be bitching about gaining a few lbs
I certainly wouldn’t say dbol was bad, hell the pumps were crazy and the feeling of well-being was also welcome. I may not use it again in future cycles, however and might opt for a different oral or a shorter ester. I’m actually already thinking about my 2nd cycle. Maybe deca/test.
Strength and size wise the results are incredible so far. I’ve added about 40 lbs to my bench already, about 30 lbs to my front squat and around 50lbs to my deadlifts. Leg press strength is through the roof (not that it means anything compared to the core lifts). I’d be interested to see what my 1RM is for these lifts too but generally stick to 4-8 reps for the compund lifts.
My training hasn’t changed too much apart but if I feel good I’ll add some drop sets or rest pause sets. I added some volume for the arm flexors but they’re coming up from the increase in the core lifts alone.
Up to now I’ve gained about 22lbs but around 8lbs or so is water. Just entered week 5. It looks like my run is going to be 10 weeks.
I’m still waiting on my slin pins though (that’s over a week and 1/2 now…) to run my taper.
Nothing else much to report. I’ve upped my adex dose to 0.5mg/day to see how it helps with my pregnant lady legs
Still getting significant increases in strength. I remember struggling to add weight to my close grip bench press and now I’ve added somewhere around 40lbs to my previous PB. Insane! I think I had 245lbs for 7 reps last night as my best working set. Not too bad (for me!).
Off to train lower back and hams very shortly. Hoping to get 420 ish for a single dead if my grip can hold… or I end up using straps.
Overall gains around 25lbs now with still a significant amount of water weight in there (hard to guestimate but maybe 8-10lbs)
Damn, I got 420 for 4 from pins 3" or so below the knees. Not too bad.
Anyone experienced blurred vision or general fatigue specifically from upping adex? It could be that I’m just tired and was squinting pretty hard at my monitor a while cough.
I had a bit of an aggression outburst today also. Had to check that shit instantly. Nothing too major though, just work related stuff.
AAS in higher doses tends to give me red eyes and blurred vision. I have no idea what the mechanism is that causes this, but I have corroborated this side effect with a number of other users and have found it to be fairly common.
I absolutely hate it, but the symptoms seem to subside post-cycle.
I tend to “focus” harder when looking at my monitor at certain times, as well. No worries there
Are you done with the dbol phase yet? Curious to know how your water retention is affected.
As for the blurred vision. I remember Bill Roberts listing a whole host of possible Adex side effects. Can’t remember if that was one of them. As we know every med has potential side effects and we are all unique in our suseptibilty to them. That is demonstrated with your extreme water retention as compared to most resulting from dbol and/or test.
Any other estro related symptoms - libido, achy joints, sensitive nipples, mental fogginess, etc… ?
How long have you been running 0.5mg/d Adex? That is the amount I maxed out at while on 30mg/d dbol and 580mg/w test e. I was able to significantly taper to 0.25mg/d once the dbol phase was finished.
It normally takes from 7-10 days for a higher Adex dose to kick in (get your blood level up sufficiently). Frontloading (higher 1st increased dose only) is an option in a case where you want blood level to rise quicker.
I feel fine this morning. I still don’t feel quite as refreshed from sleep no matter how long I sleep
DH: I’ve only been running 0.5mg/ED for 3 days up to now. It did subside a little when I came off the dbol but what I think happened is that the test kicked in pretty much as the dbol phase finished.
Like Cortes has said and many others, the longer ester T’s often cause (more) water retention so I’m not too worried. I’ve added some more Vit C and watching my sodium intake too. My carbs are quite high atm (for me; around 350g/day) so this could be the cause too. No other sides really, some of my joints are a little sore but I figure it’s due to the increase in weight (both bodily and on the bar). Libido is fine; I think I expected more from other people’s comments but it’s definitely ‘enhanced’ way above what it was. It reminds me of being 14/15 years old again. The mental fogginess is something I actually had a lot and increases based on the amount of carbs I (don’t) eat or how much cardio I do. I remember being on low (zero some days) carb and actually forgetting words in Japanese (and English) and just stop mid sentence like … duuuh? Nothing like that right now though.
I have added a bunch of cardio as well in the hope I can drop some fat along the way. 30 mins every morning after dropping 5g of BCAA and some vit c. It’s not affecting my training at all so I’m going to keep it in there. Quads are sore for longer though.
Oh, I’m noticing my muscle feels a lot harder now. Great stuff.
I think the thing about libido is that, with some people, your natural test levels were already fine or even somewhat high, ergo your libido is already pretty decent to begin with. Adding a shitload of test is certainly going to be expected to raise it even more, but if you’re already “healthy,” so to speak, you are not going to notice the difference as much as somebody whose natural test levels have always been somewhat low.
I certainly get a libido increase on test, but when I did my first cycle, I, like you, kept waiting for that huge jump in libido that everyone was talking about. Probably a good thing that jump does not occur in an equal intensity from baseline for everyone, or I would have probably ended up in jail for all of the high school girls in their short short schoolgirl skirts walking by waving at me and giggling.
I’m giddy enough as it is. Don’t push me cause I’m close to the edge!
Cheers. I’ve run low (zero) carb before and it’s no fun at all. I got some very very quick results at the cost of a little strength but for the feeling totally trashed… I don’t think it’s worth it.
I feel a lot dryer today. I’m not sure if the liquidex stabilizes quicker perhaps? This is only the 4th day of 0.5mg/ED but the bloat is definately less. Could have dropped a bit of fat too mind (hopefully).
no weight gain this week but my lifts are all up so I’m going to leave it the same. I can see some fat loss (still a little pudgy though) and some water has dropped. The cardio seems to be helping but I’m going to drop it back to 30 mins every morning.
Excellent training yesterday but it’s time for some exercise switches. Going to use the Hammer Strength stuff (for shoulders initially) for the first time and see how I go. I’ve never been a massive fan of the hammer strength stuff opting for free weight most of the time but we’ll see
