I have baker’s cyst behind my knee. It’s due to probably arthritis, due to shaving of my meniscus in one operation 20 years ago, and another full knee reconstruction nearly 17 years ago.
My knee doesn’t hurt when I lift. I use knee bands(the rebands) for support. However, occasionally after lifting I get pain and discomfort from the cyst in the back of the knee.
I take fish oil and glucosamine
Does the knee need to be scoped again? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I think a doctor should look at it. It’s almost assuredly nothing to worry about. But why not get it checked out. And you can probably get it removed cheaply too if you feel like it. Insurance will cover most of it.
Have a doctor look at it if you have not already. One doctor thought I had one, sent me for tests and fancier doctor. It turns out I didn’t. Some damage in the knee and excessive fluid build-up. Cortisone shot and it was better. Not great, but better.
