Nope, same spot as last time as far as I can remember. Go figure.

Slogged through a hilly 2.4 km run. 13:00. My legs really did not want to do this.
The biggest challenge on bench is not the single set at TM but rather the sets with 97.5. It’s amazing what a difference 95 vs 97.5 makes. Then again my tricep still aches.
I need to buy a wrench to start using my KB. I might do that later today and try some swings and whatever else.
Can you elaborate lol?
Need a wrench to adjust the weights.
Combated stress with more stress
expected a “tonic” session but was more humbled than anything. The KB is neat and not as big of a pain to switch out the weights as expected.
3 rounds: 1 clean + 10 strict press per arm with top half of the shell (dunno how much this weighs)
2 rounds: 1 clean + 3 push presses per arm with 12kg
1 round: 1 clean + 2 push presses per arm with 15kg
Tabata cleans with 14 kg, alternating arms each round
Tabata swings with 18 kg
3 rounds: 22kgx10 goblet squats/6 pushups
Lots of band pull aparts
Only negative was the tabata cleans – waste of time. This felt like I was beating myself up in slow motion for 4 minutes. The tabata swings were awesome though.
I have a nice flat cement square in my “backyard,” so I did this outside and got interesting stares from my neighbors.
Hell yeah. Crushing it.

My forearms, traps, and hamstrings are killing me from that KB session. But the top single on press felt much smoother than last week. Nowhere near a PR, and a double was out of the question, but I am fairly confident I could have pressed 70 for a not too grindy single. Again, really looking forward to trying to focusing on pressing more once Coffinworm is over. The warm weather makes lifting feel like a sauna now. It’s terrible.
I thought we had established this was impossible.
If not impossible it is at least offensive.
She also runs faster than the rest of us.
I feel fat shamed.
And athletically shamed(?).
It makes me uncomfortable and she should stop is the overall point.
Stop being so sexist
If a guy were to do 50 pull ups and run fast no one would claim what he does is impossible. Damn this patriarchy ![]()
(Internet Communication Clarification: in case the emoji wasn’t enough, I am saying this in jest. Or to put it more explicitly: DO NOT TAKE THIS POST SERIOUSLY)
I don’t go by gender, I can be equally mean to everyone!
That’s the spirit!
Probably unintentional but this is hilarious.
It’s only because I’m type 5a.
Only if you stop lifting weights.
I was so ridiculous I was almost laughing at myself while doing it.
This sounds like an endorsement? What is the process for changing the weights out?
The KB comes with an Allen wrench to disassemble the bell. Then you need to buy or already have an appropriately sized wrench to load and unload the weights. It doesn’t take long. I think it’s especially nice because you can take smaller weight jumps. I could see myself buying another in the future if I take KBs more seriously.
Some people don’t like the competition style. The paint is already chipping (thanks Titan), but my plates were not as beat up as I saw in other reviews. I’ve only used it once so far though!
The 50 pullups thing was in reference to some earlier talk about someone in another thread saying 50 pullups in a single day was basically impossible. Which, of course, it definitely is.
Ahh… got it
I really like explaining jokes, so it’s cool.
