Hahaha, I should mix up the conditioning a bit more. But running is simple, so it is my go-to.

I’m the complete opposite, insanely tight hamstrings. I did RDLs Monday of last week with a pretty light weight and it’ll probably take another few days to recover from those.

It also takes me a long time to recover from movements that really stretch the hamstrings. Years ago I regularly performed deficit RDLs – wearing heeled squat shoes atop two 45# bumper plates. Murderous.

But I rarely experience quad DOMS. The last time that happened was after the first few weeks of 10x10 Deep Water squats.

6x200m at the track, each run ~40s

I wish this knot in my upper back would go away. The good mornings also did not make my neck very happy. Also it is hot outside.

Thirty-minute untracked run

Oh my god, it’s still morning and almost 110 degrees. I want to die as I lay on my floor typing this. My hamstring is a little unhappy, too.

SLDL 155x9,7

Supposed to leave two reps in reserve this week. I went to sleep and woke up with a migraine. Seems like lifting alleviated it though. The squats weren’t the best, but I’m happy with the deadlift set, especially considering I probably could have done 20 if I strayed from the program.

Excellent deadlifting, and in a migraine??!!

Nice pulling!

Love that you’re fighting fire with fire!

your grip isn’t the limiting factor, it usually is for me

I dunno. I deadlift with a women’s bar whose diameter is noticeably less than that of a typical barbell. This helps, but I also have tiny hands, so it balances out I think. That weight also isn’t very heavy though.

Hilly two-mile run 15:40

This was rough. Felt very slow, my legs like bricks. Not to mention the heat. Again. Not as awful as Tuesday but still pretty bad.
