Back problem

Well, i was doing an overload program for the last 4 weeks and everything was going great i have to say. I posted a while ago saying what i was doing, but i’ll say it again. It was almost like the bill star 5 x 5 routine but replaced powercleans with deadlifts, and the offdays, tuesday and thursday i did the rest of the body. So i did squats and deadlifts mon-wed-fri heavy day/light day/ medium day. I should of known that deadlifts 3 times a week is just wrong, but i thought i could handle it. everything was going well until around the 4th week when i started getting pains in my lower back after squatting and deadlifting, well not so much squatting, but deadlifting. So i did no do friday’s medium workout due to this, it happend on light day by the way. On monday my back felt pretty good again, so i figured i would take some time off deadlifting and just squat. Everything was going good and i was happy that it was until the last heavy set, even though the 4th set was also fairly heavy. On the 4th rep as i reached almost rock bottom it came back and i managed to explode up and get out of the hole, but i was pissed. I mean why the fuck wouldnt it happen on the previous almost as heavy set. Now i don’t know what to do, i know i should take time off squatting but i don’t want too, there has to be some way out of this without stopping squatting for a while. Anything?

I’d say get thee to a doctor/chiro and get your the problem diagnosed. You can figure out how to proceed from there. Don’t fuck around with your back. Trust me.
