Back...Into the Deep End

2 hours (at least); yard work everyday.

Squats, shoulder/arms combo’s in friends shed; Sunday @ 2ish hours.

Working/ planning some ‘tree stands’ for my 18lbs Big Boy Cat; coming soon.

Fired up the BBQ for this years “First Cook”; beef ribs and bbq oatmeal burgers. Oatmeal is my not-so-secret ingredient: try it.

landscaping stuff, BBQ X2, misc. other BS, not much exercise.

Had physical yesterday; weight down 10lbs. Lack of hard training and drying out a bit, is a real drag.

Got some exercise after work.

About 15x 25, misc. mini-band stuff, mostly upper.

The same w/heavy band, a lot of lower, some upper.

Did a few things from a Nick Tumminello article from here; felt pretty good.

Lots of yardwork/landscaping, BBQ’s and misc. inside stuff.
Exercise 3 or so times per week, with a couple trips to a ‘lifting shed’.

Took out, to re-do 190s.f. of patio/walkway in the backyard. It an old cement driveway, broken out and laid in DYI/homeowner style (no experience/homeowner style). A couple big pieces must be 100-120lbs, which would be a fun-ish ‘training stone’ for the Backyard Games.
We’ll see.

Not to much else.

Same old stuff, for the most part.

removing, re-installing 200s.f. of patio/walkway area; ongoing, ready to start re-setting.

Lifting in a friends shed. Also, flipped a 600lbs tire in his yard. 9 attempts= 5 flips w/4 misses, all in one ‘set’, with about 30sec. rest. It’s the most work I’ve done in the last 2 months of shutdown.

Gotta say, it was pretty cool to get it over; more to come.

Good old manual labor will make you strong.

No doubt about that. The work is more tedious at this point.

No shed lifting, or tire flipping this weekend. Hoping for details about 24fitness opening up here in Denver. We shall see.

Good to be back in.

It must be nice to be back. Someday maybe…

It sure is; 3 months off, almost to the day.

Training windows bumped up to 90mins. this week, which is all I really want/need right now.

Forgot to mention…

They (must) have new bars, I think they’re around 60lbs…Plates too, the “45’s” seemed to be more like 65lbs…
Pretty sure that’s it :smirk:
