Saturday after work: Went home, got things squared away for today’s work. Stood in the shower, then slept from 5-7pm. Ate dinner, read a bit, then went to bed by 9:30. If that’s not pre-meet rest and recovery, I don’t know what is
I did work Thursday night, which was very lucrative for me: 2 full Thanksgiving dinners (with pie) at 5 and 9pm, 1 1/2 hourly wage, and a cash tip= 1 month gym fees!!! All around a very good deal. As people often do, I see $$$ as ‘what it gets me’; for people Like Us, that’s often gym fees, steaks/groceries, new training gear…you know, the Good Stuff!!
The OCD is starting to kick in now… You’re going to do great! Sounds like Thanksgiving was good to you, and that in itself is a lot to be thankful for.
Since I have no training to post; more ‘Holiday tip’ news.

***A son, of a resident, took an Elk at the end of our rifle season (just outside of Aspen), last week. He gave me a 3lbs. package of Ground Beast to enjoy!!! Very fresh, never frozen ect…I’ll only guess to say that it’s…$15 a lbs at a meat store??..Maybe more? I’ll just call it another $50 tip:) I’m thinking meatballs; portioned out, eaten sooner than later, so I can be “strong as Elk” for my meet.

IF anyone can see the pic; here’s the quick story. At work in ‘the usual’ cargo-khaki pants, I hit my SQ stance, get reeeall tight, and barely go into a squat then…POP!!! Sounded more like a tire blowing out:) than a rip. Pretty funny. So. lockout power, and backside prowess is in effect. And no, these were not tight to begin with; I just really fill them out, when needed:)

Tuesday was med. lifting, down around 180lbs from NOT lifting much volume since Friday, overall just ready to go. Numbers are all set, outfit(s) and accessories all picked out:)…
