Well, I am still waiting for an after-meet ice cream offer, but my phones not ringing of the hook these days…sad face.

I’m fine here, not to worry.

I just don’t understand that. A sexy, passion flower such as yourself should be having to beat the women away with a stick. I ain’t too good to buy you an ice cream! Just tell me what kind. Banana split, pistachio, rocky road, chocolate dipped cone, what’ll be? Cherry cheesecake ice cream on a short stack maybe?

I would totally call you for an ice cream. But, alas, I’m trying to hit a weight class in two weeks . . .

I know, I know…but I’m moving up in weight, so Ice Cream Away!!!

Oh by the way, I had ice cream last night, after a dinner out. Outrageous local/homemade place in my neighborhood. Very good.

Friday DL and stuff:

DL: Up to 8x4@ 275. 2 reps sumo/2 reps con. each set.
Box DL: 4x4@ 225
DB pullovers: 8’s@ 30,40,50,60.

BE: 3x4@ 155/ 4@ 175,195, 215, 2@ 225.
DB incline fly: 3x15@ 40’s

Home Alone, at Iron Warrior gym. 2 weeks after my meet.

SQ: 2x4@ 155/195/235; went to 265, form was awful. Leaning this way, knee going that way; backed way off. 3x6@ 155 to finish.
Leg press/ calf: 1 giant set, 25 reps of both at 320. Who knows why.

DB hammer press: 3x15@ 50’s
Rev. hypers: 3xs10@ 90.

DL: 4x3@ 185/ 4x3@ 225

SQ felt weak/ off balance. DL’s just weak. Other than that, it was fine:)

Eric, sorry I’m so late on congratulating you on your deadlift PR at the meet. A 2.1 x BW deadlift is awesome. Hope your squat form comes around for you. Backing off the weight was probably the best idea.

Tues: Lower Body Day, apparently.

Leg press: 4x10+10@ 480. 10 close/ 10 reg. feet.
Hip thrusters: 4x10@ 225
Standing calf: 4x10@ 225
Close stance SQ: 4x6@ 225. Super pump/tension on these.
Last 3 in Smith Machine FYI.

Weds, 8/17

AD/AB machine: 4x10each @ 105
Close stance SQ: 4x6@ 185. All paused in hole.
Hammer pulldowns: 4x10@ 120. Hard squeeze.
DB Pullovers/laterals: 3x10@ 40 plus 10 @ 15’s.

Short, but decent.

Parents in town; no time to sneak in a lift until Tuesday. Been cooking a lot; eating what’s called ‘desserts’. I can see why people like them:)

FYI desserts make curves…lol and not always in the best possible way
