the rationale for why you won’t… gets me thinking that you might. it would be kinda nice to overcome that feeling - yes?

i’m really impressed at your progress in the time you have been here. i remember when you first started out… and now look at ya!!

Thanks Alexus. To compete in anything you have to be in the right head space, unfortunately Im not in ATM. So for now, Ill just grind away and do my best to kill it

Looking forward to seeing the progress UP.

Meadows is definitely a sadist but that pain produces some astounding results.

Destroyres and 6-ways will soon develop a love/hate relationship with you.

hey UP, wow those swinging destroyers look brutal, pump up those rear delts…hmmmm

Hey Up! About jumping roping without having to count, I would say house music would be the best bet for 140 bpm. I would normally try to find music of 170 bpm+ when I used to run. Actually I can’t do anything without music.

This pdf explains it a bit better than I can

Heyyyyyy, Hi where are you?

JM obvi loves reps, I havent had this much burning in …well never. I dont remember seeing the 6-moves is that a JM vid? Ill have to go check it out, thanks.

Yea, what ever works, they are crazy.
Im trying to adjust to higher reps, finding the weight that I can finish my reps is tricky.
i think Im catching on though…

Training gym day.

I thought, hmmm only 13 sets, this should be pretty cake, then I saw the reps :0

Im adjusting to the burn of high reps, and trying to embrace that fire feeling. Im working on pushing out the reps when I hit that point, but sometimes Im willing my legs to move but they arent budging. Its got to be mental and physical? Either way Im doing my best. Im also liking being really warmed up by the time I squat, but my legs are already so fatigued, so its good/bad, if that makes sense.

I also switched some machines to the cable weight, so much faster adjusting with the pin, then switching plates for drop sets and pyramid work. So far nothing is really “new” as far as “what” moves I do but more about reps, drop sets and did I say reps? Like leg extensions only one set. But it was 35 reps.20 regular 5 forced (I didnt have a partner so I really held it at top) then 10 partials. My feet move back and forth, distracts me from the pain.

Thanks so much, i knew it had to be something easy, I guess I do find that I jump to the beat now, just didnt know about finding music for count. Now I have no excuses.

I’m around. Still training just not posting much.

6-ways (fixed)

yes the link worked. thanks for posting it. i guess the more inclined forwards one is the more one hits the rear rather than medial delts. i might give those a shot. i know what you mean about not being used to the burn of higher TUT! i’ve just started experimenting with some bodybuilding iso exercises / reps / TUT’s and i’m very humbled weights-wise. i guess the body really does adapt to how you train it. i’m very much in awe of the neuromuscular control that bodybuilders have.

Thanks Ddot, JM BLAST, ha!! some great movements for sure.

Alexus Its confusing to me, the whole burn factor. Usually after leg day I can already feel some soreness by night, or next day afternoon. This training (so far anyway) Im not that “sore” but i feel “tight” or that I trained feeling. I know Ill be feeling it more as a few movements get brought back in, it just doesnt make sence to me that Im not crazy sore, when i struggle to finish reps. Dont get me wrong, im enjoying it while it lasts, I see lunges coming soon, they always make me feel crippled.

Ive gotten behind in logging and didnt write down all my shoulder work i did, this is close:

SUNDAY
CHEST/SHOULDERS

warm up mostly push ups and down dog stuff, then light dbs

LOW INCLINE DB PRESS
25/12
30/3x10
25/12

CABLE CHEST PRESS
30/10
25/3x15

then I thought i was doing the rear delt with cables, couldnt figure out why i felt it so much in chest…
stupid me didnt grab handles with opposite hands, so I was doing cable flys…no wonder I was stronger.
2x20x? forgot think 20 a hand

swing/destroyers
2x30 8s

bent arm raise
15/2x15
10/1x15

side to front
2x10 e 8s

forgot name first dbs not quite half way out to side , then to out to side or little above, then top
15s,8s,3s few rounds of this

I will be better about keeping track of what I do, and the order.

YESTERDAY GYM
BACK < Dont think Ive ever just trained back, but Im finding that i need to split up my body parts. I followed JMs MDB

NOT SURE WHAT OTHER THAN LIGHT DB ROWS WHAT ALL TO TO FOR BACK.(gotta love caps lock, im not yelling)

  1. DEAD STOP ROWS DBs REST/PAUSE
    1x8 30 DB
    2x8 35 DB

2.STRETCHERS <love
1x20(oops was supposed to be 12)#36
1x12 48

3.PULL DOWNS
2x8 53 <long stretch 2 min

4.CHEST SUPPORTED T-BAR
3x8 20# squeeze/hold

5.SUPPORTED ROW (sitting/chest in pad) maybe do 4 or 5? although i feel it different.
3x10 25

6.ONE ARM CABLE ROWS
3x10/24#

7.PULL OVERS (head off flat bench)
2x10 25db not sure i got this quite right, once i kept arms a little straighter going behind heat felt more in lats, but seems like i could tweak something if im not careful with these.

  1. DB SHRUG < lol never do shrugs < interesting
3x12 35s wasnt sure how heavy to go, today was supposed to be moderate.

Ill save the hypers drop set for today after done with legs/glutes.

Not sure i got the weight right, may take time to figure out the new moves/machines. I guess im more concerned with form first, cant be a bad thing.

Ive been loving doing a bunch of greens and stuff, swear i get a bit of kick < whats not to love about a natural kick!

greens

That’s brutal work. You’re awesome.

wow thats alot of greens in your blender! Do you drink it all at once??
I need to increase my greens…I think I am to acidic.

Yes, it only made a 16oz glass. I did another in the late afternoon. I go to this real “earthy” place, each time I go I tap into this girls brain about something I should be eating that i dont know about. This week i asked for another “green” food, it was a little “spicy” mustard flavor, did add a different taste, but lets face it, Im not downing grass this stuff for the delicious mouth watering taste of it. Not everything I eat has to be solely for that. The hardest part is remembering what it is Im getting, I forgot that one already, but its easy to spot.

Ive also played around with turmeric, nasty taste alone, but it wrecks my drink so I tend to do it before. I swear my recovery speeds up when i drink all that stuff. I dont use a juicer, i love all the fiber and depending on whats in it, i have to chew here and there, lol.

Not so awesome, but Im trying

It is an adjustment not doing a “big” lift first, or even at all. Getting the weights where I want them is hard too. Im used to a different kind of work and knew what to leave in the tank for the finish, now Im kind of thinking I need to go heavier and push more, although I know im supposed to leave some reps. (IM WORKING ON THAT PG ;))

Ill admit, this is really “fun”.

What a lovely image!

You are truly dedicated to drink that stuff. It looks like pond scum.

So what’s the reason behind the change in training style then? Boredom? or are you training for something specific?

I know you’ve probably said, but I’m so weak now I haven’t the strength to scroll back through your log.
