BD GOSH, I forgot about those. So they are easier than the pull ups? Or are you saying do these to get stronger for the pull ups? Ill admit I have a bit of a hard on to get the sets of pull ups, wasnt expecting not to get my 3 at least, but ill keep on it! Thanks for stopping in :)[/quote]

I can see your trimmed down for summer, your back looks HUGE!
KBs agree with you!

Only thing disappointing on todays training is no pic, I was looking pretty good :stuck_out_tongue: ha

Training gym day

Really focused on hitting my perfect spot, keeping my elbows under the bar, felt good.

warm up did some different things, amazing how lifting your arm just another 2 inches and moving correctly makes things like a new move. Did feet walk ups to handstands and cuff stuff, nice burn.

Tried some 2 arm kb swings, and single arm (way better)15,20,35

single arm KB PRESS 18 for a few reps, 20/25 I really really LOVED those, I like when I have to almost growl and tighten all up, get a little pissed and drive weight. These are a keeper!!

Then I learned how to properly use the glute ham raise, i can only imagine doing these on leg day!

Today felt so so so good, I love when Im in a funk and I train, and I HAVE to focus, theres just nothing like it, well~~~~

nice to see you back at it UP !!!

Thanks Lil, and I have NO DOUBT you are SMASHING your training!! Hopefully your hips not acting up!

Training today was an easy light day, although the super strict GMs(keeping bar up close to neck, and really reaching the chin forward, etc werent “easy” by no means.

Really just blasted threw this. Wanted a wo but also want my legs “fresh” for
mondays training with an X BBer girl, God I hope she doesnt kill me :open_mouth:
Have a great weekend. Ive slowly caught up on a few logs.

It feels so good to have my chest and back feel a little wrecked.

My gym really has a lot of good stuff now, I need to make more of an effort to get there. I just like training at home, although i am good at tuning out the people there.

Ill hit pump today, really light, just to get a good blood flow through the sore muscles.

I (like most of us Im guessing) seem to have life get in the way, just as I am peaking…I hope I can keep
on it for a longer streak this time. Keeping the balance and consistency will be a good mantra.

EDIT “peaking” may not have been right word, more like on a roll…

GM  Another beautiful day here. Im feeling super good and ready to hit legs today.
Still cant believe just tweaking and adjusting a few moves made my back wake up!
Ive leaned down some 3ish lbs this summer and I like not having as much fluff. Now i realize my fluff and your fluff may be different  just saying things fit better. As I am getting older, not sure if this is as much muscle as Im gonna get, but i would be thrilled with a little more.
Yea, yea I know I have to work harder. I guess you just have to be ok with what you have, because something always comes up.

These pics were last night. The flex one is nice, but i like the softer relaxed one. Ill take some more in a couple months right after working back. (I always forget because im dead, ha!)

BSS back foot bench
20s/2x10 25s 1x10 took 20 sec between r/l leg, ill get it next time without stopping if it kills me

back ext 15# behind neck
3x10,10,12 nice pause can go up here or add more reps.

glute ham raise
3x5-6? -->I was having an out of body experience from the pain and could not count---->true story

have to do calves at home, forgot them.

Im really good at focusing at the gym, I can tune out people but i can not tune out the Giorgio Armani-ish
fragrant wafting threw the air. Id rather the stink of sweat, just sayin.

My balance was on point for the BSS. I didnt even hate them today, not sure if that means i slacked.

The title of this thread is appropriate. Awesome back.

Yes, the pics of the back are awesome.

But that’s got nothing to do with the title of this thread… :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, trust me, I know. Just trying to be a gentleman.

Thanks… “Gentlemen” your too kind. My back seems to help my head get over other bits Im not as thrilled with.(whatever works, eh?!!)

Im still thinking about the glute ham raise machine. I had to concentrate so much, not to feel how hard and painful it was, I really hope I was using the right form. I know my knees werent dropping to the pad, so that was good. I have it on the second notch(front), ill hopefully get it down all the way in a couple months? Not sure.
Its a bugger of a machine to adjust.

Not sure if Im hitting a secondary upper or not, but I feel like an upper today.
Really looking forward to my next leg day. I need to really focus on my main goals so I dont drive G nuts.
I want more explosive, I want more volume, Im going to work in spin again, Im gonna run, Im going to just do FS, no i want box squats  Im so much fun, hehe

Thanks again guys :)Have a great day!
